  1. Need an Anti-Sway Hitch or Other Solution

A lifetime of towing has made several things extremely true. 1. Anything over 12' should have two axles. 2. Keep your load as close to the center front as possible. Even light items on the rear, is a risk. 3. Sway is a problem of weight distribution, not total weight. Any trailer can be...
  2. RoadActive Suspension?

I am looking at ways to improve the load performance when towing. In the past, I have gone with Timbren, but have been considering AirLift. I just saw reference to RoadActive Suspension and was curious about it It sounds good, but I am looking for real experiences with this. Anyone?
  3. Bakflip MX4 EZ-Lift

Got mine installed last week and it is a nice improvement on the G2 on my 2017 F150. How well it keeps out water will have to wait for a few weeks until my PPF has cured.
  4. Mud Flaps -- Weather Tech "No Drill" flaps? Other Recommendations?

I got a decent price on the four piece set, so splurged. The install was straight forward and they fit well. The clips can be a pain to install, but you soon get it figured out. My only issue was I got a bad 2-pack of screws/clips and had to use one of the old pins. The look good and feel solid...
  5. Driver grab handle design

I tried to get the Ionic 41 running boards because they are able to be mounted lower than normal, but for whatever reason, they have not been available for a while. Considering I have a ruptured achilles tendon, getting in and out is a bother. My only thought is to add a fold down step to the...
  6. Ford Tool Kit

I found a kit similar to this, but with a ratchet added...
  7. Ford Tool Kit

The most essential tool you need to have in your kit, is what you don't have when something goes wrong.
  8. What’s the messiest spot in your Ranger? 🎁 Win FREE interior accessories!

What I need is a paper shredder. I come home, pull up to the mailbox and ⅔ of it stays in the truck because it’s junk mail.
  9. First Mods?

Got my Ranger on Tuesday. Line-X/MX4 EZ/running boards done yesterday. The running boards are nice, but very basic and lack the height adjustment of the Ionic 41s that I was hoping to get. Hopefully, tomorrow I will install the WT mud flaps and the floor mats. I am still adapting to the...
  10. First Mods?

Today I pick my Ranger up, but a few changes to my plans. The Ionic 41 running boards are not available and I need something now. I went with a similar board from American Trucks. I got a good deal on the WeatherTech floor mats and the mud flaps, so I splurged.
  11. Hood Struts from Redline

The Mustang did not have factory struts until the 2024. Now they are factory installed, but the Ranger does not have them. Anyone else wonder about the coincidence of the timing?
  12. Best license plate designs?

I hate the latest Oklahoma tag. The Swallowtail Swift tag was not my favorite, but its better that that OU red monstrosity. It's a pity they didn't keep up the quality of the state capital image plates from a few years ago. My 2025 Mustang has a personalized tag due to my OMC membership, but...
  13. Black Ranger XLT with Gray Bumper

I did not like the color either. I am getting PPF on my Ranger and they are going to use a color of my choice on that area for no extra charge.
  14. First Mods?

I have (I think) a BAKflip G2 on my F150 and it has been the best solution for my needs. I looked at a comparison of the MX4 vs the Leer and, for my needs, the BAKflip is a better fit. Seat covers will be months down on my list of things to do. What I would love to find, is a fool-proof way to...
  15. First Mods?

One of the reasons for going with the BAK E-Z lift is that it uses a latch mechanism on the cord.
  16. First Mods?

I want seat covers, but I have never had good luck with finding ones that fit and hold up. I plan on keep trying to figure something out.
  17. First Mods?

The Husky mats are on my to-do list, and I haven't decided which mud flaps to go with. I like the Weather Tech, but the price is too dear compared to more value priced models.
  18. First Mods?

My Ranger XLT is due next week and i have to decide which mods to start with.. Right now, my plan is to get Line-X,the bed install Ionic 41 running boards and add the BAK MX4 E-Z Lift tonneau cover. From there, I have numerous potential upgrades I will probably add a sliding cargo tray to the...
  19. Like or Dislike Adaptive Cruise Control?

Hated it when I first used it in my wife's Flex, but after getting used to it, I found that it can be very useful. On my Mustang, I have even had situations where it comes to a complete stop during a traffic jam. Like anything mechanical, it is a tool that can be useful when used the right way.
  20. Say It Ain't So Ford!!!

Old news. And Ford was not the only one, but they were one of the earliest to explore this. They started rehiring the engineers over a year ago and recently Ford won the top spots in new car initial quality. Eventually, they will find a balance that works and it will increase efficiency.
