  1. Ranger Raptor Procal tune - how does it affect ‘Normal’ drive mode and shifting ??

The procal will raise shift points some in normal mode. Adds a good bit of power and torque. If you live where it is hilly it will downshift to a lower gear more on the highway. I recently went with Goosetuned. It has more power and he tuned it to have close to the stock shift points. It will...
  2. I want a QUIET exhaust

I would do it again. It still has plenty of sound in sport and baja. it's a lot deeper sound without the resonance. I don't think it will affect performance any.
  3. Another Recall - 26E04 for IAT Sensor Fault Detection

I had a PCM update a couple of weeks ago that was OTA. I flashed back to stock, updated and then loaded the tune back on. Of course the tune would not include the latest update until the procal, ZFG or Goosetuned uses the updated base tune.
  4. I want a QUIET exhaust

With the ultra quiets, I've ran stock, FP tune and Gooosetuned. The exhaust sounds the same on all of them. Maybe very tiny bit quieter on the stock tune.
  5. Adjusting shift points in sport mode

A tuner would be the only ones who can do it.

  7. Goosetuned Tuning Thread - Ranger/Bronco 3.0 Raptor +300hp!

Thanks, Good info. Can you create a tune that shifts like stock until 30, 40 or 50% throttle?
  8. Goosetuned Tuning Thread - Ranger/Bronco 3.0 Raptor +300hp!

Hi Winfield, Can the stock driver demand table be used with your tunes? The FP tune downshifts on the highway way too much. I'm running the stock DD with the FP tune now and it works well. I also leave the intercooler shutter open during warm weather and then back to enabled during the winter...
  9. Too much Horsepower ?

Maybe not enough room for the axles and transmission.
  10. Didn’t buy it!

Seems as though the steering racks have a lot of stiction in them. I thought mine was stiif when new, but after about 10.000 miles it is a lot better. On center feel is better also. My wifes 25 F150 also had bad on center feel until some miles were put on it.
  11. 2029 GMC Jimmy coming with V8, BOF

Looks like it could be nice. Only thing is with GM, it will probably have $100 a month in subscriptions to keep it running.
  12. Just for Fun: If You Were the Ranger Designer, What Would You Change?

Aluminum body like F150 to reduce weight Cooled seats 10r80 transmission for raptor stronger diffs for raptor Tailgate area redesigned for better dust/water intrusion less random holes in bed more physical buttons for often used functions instead of using the screen better steering feel ST...
  13. ProCal Tune - do we need to check for updates?

Ford Performance, a few post back i showed the differences in the two files. I was using the HPtuners software. I saved the original Ford Performance tune and then compared it to the new Ford Performance tune. Not a lot of changes, but there were some.
  14. ProCal Tune - do we need to check for updates?

For me, I loaded the stock tune back to the truck. Then updated the tuner. It wiped the FP tune from the programmer. I went back to my FP account and reloaded the updated FP tune back to the programmer. My account had no credits used and 1 available. The certificate I used the first time...
  15. Seats upgraded with Katzin leather with Degreez

Awesome, did you install them yourself?
  16. Port Fuel Injection Kit.

This might be something interesting for someone to try. https://emsinc-tn.com/product/ems-3-0l-ford-explorer-ecoboost-port-injection-kit/
  17. ProCal Tune - do we need to check for updates?

I might have had a early version but these were the changes that were made. These were probably done for durability instead of performance gains.
  18. I want a QUIET exhaust

It's just perforated holes in the pipe. I have not cut one open to see if there is any packing in there. I might cut one open to see.
