Check your rear diff fluid on 2026 Rangers

My truck was down a qt from the factory and now needs a new ring and pinion. Must be a small batch of axles underfilled from the Dana plant.

how many miles do you have, and how did you realize this?

150 MILES. around 60 mph on decel it started humming. I opened the fill plug nothing on my finger. Fill plug magnet had a ton of metal on it.

That's crazy. So it's been a problem for a few years.

I will probably change mine out with a good synthetic fluid. It will be full and have better fluid.
