That's awesome to know! I hope Ford is working to improve the paint issues that some have complained about.

Can you post some pics when installed?

100% will post up some pictures. Waiting for the Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-85 to show up so probably get to it next weekend.

Completed the cover swap out. I was very surprised how heavy the factory steel cover is. If the differential had a drain plug I would not have bothered swapping them out. Two other surprises are that the gaskets for the factory cover and Ford performance cover are very different - see picture and that the factory cover is installed and then the axle and cover are painted. When I took off the factory cover I had a paint ridge that I had to scrape off so the new gasket and cover could sit flush on the housing. As others have mentioned the paint quality is so, so on the new cover.

Yes, looks really good. I will probably do that pretty soon, also. I did a motorsport diff on the 8.8 on my 04 ranger so i could do fluid changes faster

How many quarts did you use, does this cover add fluid?

If you fill to the bottom hole (as per the instructions) it takes the stock amount 4.2 pints.

I did some additional digging and came across a Ten Factory (Motive Gear) diff cover advertised for the Dana M220 on the Ford Bronco. Since the ranger has the same rear end it's a go! The hardware provided is the same as the Ford Performance diff cover has as well.

Hi all, just wondering if they make a aftermarket diff cover for a non raptor 2024 fx4 with the locking diff.
I put the ARB cover on my 22 Bronco, fill plug, drain plug, dip stick, thick steel.
Works Great!!!

So some very good news. I received the Ford Performance differential cover today and low and behold it comes with 2 longer bolts and spacers for mounting the brake line bracket that's on the 2025 Rangers :).
Any chance you can measure how long those spacers are?

I picked up a secondhand ARB cover a while back. It uses pretty standard M8x1.25 bolts, I'll just need to grab some M8 spacers and slightly longer bolts accordingly.
