  1. Gas mileage

I have about 6K on mine an my avg is up to almost 19. The first few tanks were 16ish. I drive it easy an it's mostly rural driving without a lot of stop an go.
  2. I’m switching to a Ranger (from Bronco)

I had a 23 Bronco. I installed sasquatch take off suspension and wheels/tires. The ride and wind noise from the multi piece top got old. I wanted a RR since they came out but they were selling for several thousands over sticker at first. I did really well trading the bronco in an was able to...
  3. Logan tri-fold tonneau cover for 2026 Lariat

I purchased a hard tri fold cover from amazon and the back latches have the same issue. So far it hasn't been a problem and I rarely open the cover. Eventually I may try making my own latch hooks and put them on top of the ones that came on it to see if I can get a better fit.
  4. Katzkins Heated and Air Conditioned Seats Installed

Very nice. Cooled seats is the only feature I wish I had.
  5. Unleaded Ethanol free 90

I run it in my small engines that sit around. Zero turn and back up generator. I fill my Harley with it at the end of the season for over the winter. it's about 10 cents more than premium here. I think we have it fairly available because we're on Lake Erie and there's lots of boats. You don't...
  6. 2025 Rangers 10R60 Transmission ~ Klunk & Jump

The auto start stop lets the transmission lose hydraulic pressure an the clutches slam back into lockup (at least that's what some internet engineer claims). I've also heard it's hard on the cam phasers since they rely on hydraulic pressure too. I had a 2019 for 46K miles and never had a...
  7. Oil Filters

I have heard rock auto is more trustworthy than amazon for car parts/filters.
  8. 26 Ranger Raptor on Bronco Sasquatch wheels and tires

Looks good. Has the ride changed? I traded in a bronco with the Sasquatch tires and wheels I added because it rode so stiff. I swapped Sas take off suspension too an it didn't help.
  9. 10R60 in the Explorer ST better than the RR

The 10r60 in my rr is way smoother than the 10r80 that was in my '19. The 10r60 in the rr isn't as smooth as the one in my '23 bronco. I was thinking the rangers have a lot more towing limits than the bronco and maybe the explorer st. The bronco is only 3,500 lbs. This may affect the shift...
  10. Installing bed side steps on Ranger XL / XLT - DIY instructions

Will these work on a raptor with dual exhaust?
  11. Mild hypermiling results. I'm impressed!

I've been driving for mileage since gas shot up. My RR is showing 18.0 but hand calculated I came up with 17.3
  12. First pass at the dragstrip

Years ago when that reality show Pinks was big they went to Milan. My buddy went and said the crowd was insane.
  13. First pass at the dragstrip

Nice. I live about 40 minutes from that track. It gets crazy there and it takes forever to get a run in. I went several years back with my bud in our 5.0's an were there 8 hours and got 2 runs in each. I took my '97 cobra to Dragway 42 which is about an hour away an I did so many runs I stopped...
  14. New to Ford!

There are threads on the transmission fluid change on ranger5G and bronco forums. Seems buying an aftermarket oil pan with a drain plug is popular. I think I'm just going to suck the 5 quarts out the fill port on the side of the trans with a transfer pump at 30K then pump it out and lower the...
  15. Driver Side Window Wind Noise

I don't hear wind noise but when I drive with the ventilation off I can feel a slight draft. One of the reasons I bought this truck is I had a bronco an hated the drafts and wind noise.
  16. S&b air filter

I had the non cleanable one in my bronco. I sprayed it from the inside out with my compressor and got a little more life out of it. It wasn't much more than the stock filter from the dealer.
  17. Recall Notice 26C10 / NHTSA Recall 26V104

Two guys I work with got the same notice on the same day I did. One ranger xlt and one f150 platinum
  18. Inexpensive hard trifold tonneau cover

I ordered some 3/8 or half in thick foam for the front to seal it
  19. Inexpensive hard trifold tonneau cover

I picked up a cheap one from Amazon for $230 an it's about what was shown in the eBay link. the rear corner doesn't match perfect but it seals and works. Looks fine to me for what I paid. I had a nice flush fit tri fold that had the convenient spring loaded latches that released with a cable...
