Mild hypermiling results. I'm impressed!

Figured over the last couple weeks I'd set the cruise at speed limit and drive easy to see what my truck is capable of fuel economy wise. Here's how it's going.

2025 STX 4x4 2.3
87 octane
70% hyway, cruise set to 100kph
20% gravel / dirt roads, cruise set to 75kph
10% city, no cruise but easy on acceleration and breaking, leaving start / stop on.
AC on 60% of the time

Getting 8.8L/100kms (26.7mpg) during the last 742kms. I can't complain, better than our Honda Odyssey.

They really do quite well when you can manage to keep the speed down. Have you hand calculated any of that mileage? It seems like the computers on these are a bit optimistic. Mine would consistently read nearly 1 mpg too high compared to what I was actually getting from hand calculating.

Speed and consistency is the biggest thing I noticed! Normally I do 'spirited driving' around 10% over speed limit and no cruise and was getting 11.8L/100kms. This was driving on nice warm calm, optimal days weather wise. I have not manually calculated.

I've been driving for mileage since gas shot up. My RR is showing 18.0 but hand calculated I came up with 17.3
