I second guessed myself too, but the rail marked left I installed on driver side and has to be correct cause the drain plug is sitting at the top of the bed. Same goes for the right (passenger side)
I was actually able to just cut with a pair of scissors and level the foam out and is now flush. The back is fine, it was more of the front.
I got the Yitamotor Hard Trifold tonneau cover.
I don't believe so, I have the railing correct as it was marked left/right with the clamps locked in with the rail and the bed. It was the foam as it was too big it seems as I was only given this big piece and a very small one.
thank you both, I will just cut the foam to level it out so it sits flush. As for the drain plug, hopefully someone can chime in for a solution/alternative to drilling the oval.

Just recently got a RR which is my first truck/Ford.
I am installing a tonneau cover but was wondering if this gap is normal or not?
Also have a spray in bedliner and didnāt want to drill holes in the drain plug, but is it okay to use the holes already present per the picture attached?
