I think... XLT is no issue, just the RR (was all they were talking about). But this is still odd, since the Australian RR comes with the bed steps as an option I believe.

I hope they work (please post one way or the other), I've seen some chatter about them not working on the RR due to the exhaust routing. Could not find a definitive answer though.

I had to carefully use heat from a torch (making sure not to disrupt the spray-in bed liner), on several of the bolts. That red Loctite is just a devil sometimes, especially on non-hardened bolts(i.e. head bolts, manifold bolts, etc.), with high torque strength.

I had the same issue with heavy objects in one of mine (hard to unlatch), I did some adjusting and now heavy or not, both open easy.

Exactly... and make sure to "cut/pick" all of the sprayed in bed-liner (if you have one) out of the Torx bolts before attempting removal and don't use an impact driver to remove them, they're in there gawd awful tight and just eats up the head, even on a tough Torx bolt. LOL... take my word on...

That sounds like BS... I live in Richland WA, just bought my RR 2 months ago from a dealer in Billings MT. Had it shipped here, went down to the DMV and had NO issues paying taxes & getting registration as soon as the title showed up.

Wanted a custom trailer hitch cover, just as a small attention getter, while setting at traffic lights. Came up with this and a company on Etsy makes all kinds of custom hitch covers out of aluminum (along with other aluminum artwork). Hitch cover looks larger in the picture, than actual size...

Also... how easy is it to use that step when the tailgate is down, that's prolly the big question.

I would like to see a pic of how well that step tucks up under the truck also, as they don't show a photo of that.

That is not one I had checked on, that looks like it could work out... as long as they are right and it'll work with the '24 / '25 RRs.

Sorry, it would seem not for the RR (at least the '24), the exhaust is apparently in the way of the factory "built-in" side steps and the kind that mount near/under the rear bumper, at least the 2 manufacturers I checked with, said theirs would not would due to exhaust pipe placement.

Last of the 2024 V6 TRD Camrys... Toyota has stopped production of the V6 power plant and no more TRDs for the foreseeable future.. Pretty good lookin machine...
