Possibly winter fuel blend.. I’m seeing the same with my truck. Check your tire pressure too… winter temps lower it. Colder weather tends to burn more fuel too… longer warm up period at higher idle. I wouldn’t get too concerned
Exactly and who drives more than 435 miles without stopping for fuel or to stretch. My 2.7L is routinely getting 500+ on trips with all highway driving.
For a $35-55k truck it’s decent but these trucks and other vehicles grossly overpriced. I’ve had several Rangers and the price has doubled in 15-20 years and salaries haven’t.
You drop $50-60k for a mid sized truck and nothing but issues, recalls and sloppy workmanship. How I remember why I took a break from Ford for so many years
2.7L… have managed 500 miles on highway driving. Moderate speeds 60-72 mpg. Some city driving with stopping/idle. Flat highways with warmer temps. 18.2 gals at fill up so yes tank about empty. DTE-1
