This is great news. For months all I have gotten information from Australian reviews or reviews of older model Rangers. Toyota definitely stepped up efforts to get the media involved early.
This is probably for the best. Places like Google or Apple are really good at creating user interfaces and designing a computer ecosystem. This is really not Ford or GMs main competency and they are better off doing what they do well which is design and build automobiles.
Agree. I like the value of the XLT but no push button is a really silly 'feature' to hold back. Basically I can have up to a 12 inch touch screen but no push button start.
I had a Jeep for 10 years and never used it until one day I was at a concert in Latrobe, PA. Everyone parked in grass parking lots which became saturated with water as it rained. All of the vehicles were stuck coming out, and my Jeep struggled in 4H and 4L, and I was stuck just spinning...
It might have something to do with the mishmash of features between CoPilot 360 and the Advanced Towing. There are differences how the blindspot sensors work while towing and this option sounds like a catch-all. It would be nice to have this better articulated before sale.
I think the looks are quite subjective. Clearly the Ranger went for a boxy front end perhaps trying to fit in with the F150, Bronco and Maverick. Just look at the Maverick and I am pretty sure it is not selling just due to its appearance.
I do think the Tacoma nearly nailed its design...
Well everyone seems to be so 'gaga' for the new Tacoma. Perhaps it is best for Ford to delay and plan some smart marketing events, and allow some YouTube driving reviews, etc. It would be really nice to see a few on the road too.
This pales in comparison to not having push button start on all trims. Its going to be 2024 and you have me buying a 40-50k vehicle which requires a key to start it.
I agree. Hopefully the lawmakers understand this concept and have no statewide ICE bans. I think Washington, Massachusetts, and California are already planning this.
I agree. I am not against EVs conceptually, but all I know is I cannot buy one with any confidence.
I live in a townhouse community with an HOA and to make matters worse my parking spaces are not adjacent to my home. No-one in my community has an EV as of today.
I do own a battery...
The infrastructure is simply not in place yet for electric vehicles. It is really that simple.
The only way it works well from my understanding, is if you have a setup/garage for a home charger.
I don't have the statistics, but I believe many people like myself don't have this and can...
