  1. Dual Battery - Under Bonnet/Hood

I'm a bit paranoid about this as well and don't like the idea of lithium batteries in the cab. Plus, if I want to pull 2000 watts, I don't want to be worrying about lighting my truck on fire. From what I understand though, newer lithium battery tech is much safer than it used to be (both the...
  2. Dual Battery - Under Bonnet/Hood

If you mean a secondary lithium battery setup, there’s a bunch of options but typically you’d want to run a pair of high amp cables to the charge controller. I believe there are “all-in-one” kits these days (charge controller + inverter for your power out plugs only from it, not the truck...
  3. Dual Battery - Under Bonnet/Hood

To my knowledge, the Raptor doesn't support a second battery in the engine bay (regular rangers do behind the airbox since it's smaller). Most solutions I've seen for this are slimline lithium behind the rear seat or in the tub. I went the Ecoflow route in the tub with their alternator...
  4. BOSS Ranger Raptor Airbag Suspension - works on USA trucks?

The kits in this thread are additions for the RR, not replacements. They only assist with leveling the truck when loaded.
  5. BOSS Ranger Raptor Airbag Suspension - works on USA trucks?

I did the BOSS kit you mentioned (triple bag). I ran the valves next to the power panel in the tub as I didn't want them exposed to mud, damage, etc. being mounted on the outside like some people do. I didn't do the dedicated compressor or tank as my use case is just for camping and 4x4 trips...
  6. RR: How to disconnect the battery Positive cable? And connect a fused 120A Anderson cable?

I haven't removed my battery terminal, but I believe the bolt in your photo with the yellow arrow is the correct one and the whole assembly lifts off. I'm running the MORRFlate TenSix compressor as well, except I ran 4 AWG high current cable to an SB 120 (120A) anderson plug mounted in the tub...
