In the good old days, maybe up to the late 70’s the dealer used to drill virgin paint in order to put their emblems on. If you were buying off the lot, it already had emblems. My dad refused a delivery of a 67-68 mustang because it had been drilled and it was on the order not to drill it.
Can you tap into the cargo light? I didn’t see any way to get wires up there. Do you have to lower the headliner? I realize they obviously got wires up there for the cargo and brake lights, but I couldn’t find it.
There is a white with green stripe wire in the bundle that runs through the passenger side under the trim between the seat and the door. I tried hooking my bed lights to it. There was power, but the lights were very dim. My friend who does auto electronics suggested it could be enough to trigger...
Boomer here, not gonna lie. Forscan intimidates me. There are probably 8-10 changes I’d like to make, probably pretty simple if you know what you are doing. Obviously I don’t.
I have a laptop, I’ll get a cable and come to you. Will pay for your time.
Thanks
Welcome to the group! I have attached a picture of the part #’s of the ones I received yesterday.
Lakeland wants you to put in your VIN # and then says those parts won’t fit. If you do it w/o the VIN it will let you order them.
The difference is really negligible, but there is a slight difference. My wife, who is the detail person had to use a flashlight to really pick up the difference.
Have zero interest in an Everest. I drive a truck because I need a truck. Can’t load 40 bags of mulch in an Everest. Would necessitate using my trailer. Don’t need a 3rd row seating, I have owned the truck 20 months and haven’t had anyone in the second row yet.
I have the factory spray in liner and the FORD mat on the floor. That mat is really heavy. I take out a couple times a year, it about kills me getting it back in.
I have a Wolfbox g900 tri pro camera in my truck, it effectively makes the rear mirror useless. I had put a black/gray flag on one side and a black Gator logo on the driver side lined up so that you can’t see them with the headrests. I just ordered the folding headrests yesterday, I’ll have to...
Maybe I am confused. (would not be the first time) But if you have ebony leather and you use the part # listed for leather, I don’t think you have to change the covers. I think if you had a Raptor and wanted the orange stitching you would have to switch the covers.
