As I mentioned, I have the Rev folding from FORD, I took these pictures this morning after 2 hours of heavy rain and right after I went through a high pressure car wash. I would call this pretty minor and I haven’t done anything yet to seal the bed.
I just saw this post, concerned about the 2 month wait. I ordered 2 weeks ago and they had a notice about delays of 2-3 days because of the holidays. I figured that was understandable, but they haven’t responded to my emails either. I am going to go a different direction if I don’t at least hear...
I have a Rev folding cover. I go through high pressure car washes and have been surprised how little water comes in. Haven’t done anything to seal it yet. Traveling, I have a waterproof car top carrier from (zippered bag type). The hard shell type mentioned above I had on my 2010 F150 from FORD...
I would like to find those also. A $250 option is almost $1k to buy the individual parts from FORD. I believe their is a post where someone listed all the part numbers.
The CarPlay interface? I have seen a couple advertisements and video reviews and it seems pretty cool. Won’t be watching Netflix while I drive but it seems to have more capabilities than CarPlay. One of the the reviews said it seemed to limit the ability to make phone calls.
Curious, obviously you guys think having a bed extender is important and it looks great. But do you use it much? I had one in my 2004 F150 that I moved to my 07 and left in my 10 when I traded it in for my RANGER. It seemed to be more in the way and taken out and left in the garage than I...
Also noticed today that there are no lights or reflectors on the door panels that would indicate that the door was open to someone coming up behind you. Every vehicle I have ever owned since my 1970 MACH1 has had that. I always thought it was some kind of government safety issue.
Moved the fuse tap to #35 and it works! Overall, I am pretty pleased with it, but I might recommend people waiting until they have a dedicated RANGER kit with appropriate instructions.
The Ranger continues to surprise me. I never realized that there are no lights/reflectors on the door panels to alert oncoming traffic that a door is open. Every vehicle I have owned since my 70 MACH1 had at LEAST a reflector and almost all of them had a light connected to the courtesy lights...
My 24 has black running boards that are hard to see at night parking on dark surfaces. Is there any way to add puddle lights that come on when the door opens?
