Also, as a side note, the guy that installed said it originally would not take and "required an update", not sure if he was talking about the tuner or the truck? Does that make sense to anyone?
Just took mine to a Ford performance shop, $275 was the charge. Also, to correct a couple of things and pose a new question:
1) Asked previously and someone said the tuner had to be installed in the truck, recommended A Pillar. While this might be convenient for flashing to original, etc...
So you (dealer) use the device to "re-program" then the device is removed, or the device has to remain in the vehicle? Can the truck be set back to the original program using the same device?
Had the same leather issue with my purchase back in May/June, posted it here, seemed to be a known issue at the time. Mine has not gotten any better in 3k miles
When we first bought the truck if you didn't use it for a couple of days the auto cabin lights would stop working (when you open the doors). Had to switch it off then back to auto, after doing this 2-3 times, they have not done it again. Also, the front usb/phone charger works intermittently...
