Quirky climate control event

Have 3k miles on our RR, have had a handful of quirky events that have disappeared as quickly as they appeared. This one caught my eye, 3/4 way back from CO, 105 outside, AC SYNCD at 73, suddenly climate control max temps and starts blowing hot air out of dash vents HI in our faces. All engine stats/temps look good. Reset to 73 and things seem normal, thoughts/experiences?

When we first bought the truck if you didn't use it for a couple of days the auto cabin lights would stop working (when you open the doors). Had to switch it off then back to auto, after doing this 2-3 times, they have not done it again. Also, the front usb/phone charger works intermittently, was going to tear into the fuses, just haven't had time. Gremlins?

Heat issue almost sounds like it switched to max defrost mode.

I would say "body controller" but there are like 10-15 control modules on this truck.

I would suggest taking it to the dealer.
Today, HVAC. Tomorrow, adaptive cruise.

Edit: could be a bad battery.

I have had this happen to me two or three times, but it happens when I try and turn up or down the stereo. I am pretty sure my finger hits the button the turn it on max.

I've had this as well when the truck sits in the garage for days at a time and I'm getting stuff in/out of it. I'm still unsure if its a bug or some kind of power saving feature, maybe to keep the interior lights from running the battery down?

As soon as you drive it, it goes back to expected behavior. It's strange and annoying, whatever it is.
