SSM 52380 2024 Ranger Raptor - Clicking/Ratcheting Sound From The All-Terrain Control Module (ATCM) When Changing Drive Modes |
Some 2024 Ranger Raptor vehicles may exhibit a condition where the ATCM makes a clicking/ratcheting sound when turning the drive mode rotary dial to change the drive mode. Reprogramming or replacing the ATCM will not resolve this condition. Inform customers that a solution for this condition will be released via a software update delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected in Q4 2024. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle's settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update in December 2024. Monitor OASIS for additional information. All current issues can be seen here, and are mainly meant for service technicians: ford.com/support/service-information/ |
