OK, so I went with the hard tri-fold from Bison. I actually wanted the soft tri-fold as I think the soft covers look nicer and they are a lot cheaper. But when I discussed with them, it turns out they don't have a soft tri-fold for the 24-25 Ranger. Just soft roll-up or hard tri-fold. They...
I'm planning to order a tonneau cover for my new truck from Bison. The hard tri-fold covers are nice because they provide an element of security for keeping things in the bed. But I much prefer the look of the seamless soft covers. The soft tri-fold seems like a great option because the look...
Hi all,
I have mentioned elsewhere that yesterday I brought home my new Cactus Gray 2024 Ranger. Ford was offering a $3k discount and the dealer offered an additional $2.5k. And they threw in a set of floor mats. All-in-all pretty close to wholesale. The truck has the 2.7L engine, FX4, advanced...
Yup...my thoughts as well. I was tempted by the silver truck, which was better looking than I expected. But I went with the cactus gray for all the reasons you mentioned. Brought it home yesterday, and the family loves the color!
I pulled the trigger on the cactus gray...2024, FX4, advanced towing package at pretty close to wholesale. Got them to throw in mats as well! Will pick it up tomorrow and post photos...
Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards the cactus grey for all those reasons. Black and white trucks seem really common, and the cactus gray is a little different.
Barring surprises, I'm planning to buy a new 2024 Ranger this weekend. The dealer is offering $5K off, close to $9K compared to the equivalent 2025. They have 3 equivalent trucks available, each with 2.7L engine, FX4, trailer towing package and running boards. One is black, one is silver and one...
Thanks for all the replies. Based on these comments and a lot of reading and thinking, I think a Ranger is the best option for me. I'll want the 2.7L and FX4 package. I really like the black appearance package too. Not necessarily a deal breaker though. The next question, what other dealer...
Thanks for this. Your comment "Bronco is like living with a cartoon car - everything is exaggerated to the point of being a nuisance as a daily driver" really resonated with me.
