  1. GOAT Off-Road strut spacers installed

Maybe I missed it, but do you think you'll end up getting the UCA from GOAT as well? From their articles, it sounds like they recommend it for the 2"/1" kit.
  2. Finally a real frame-mounted rock sliders for Rangers from RCI Offroad

Just reached out to them and got some good news sent back within 15 minutes. I'll definitely be going with RCI when they drop.
  3. Torque sensor error after downshifting in 4L

Hey all, I was out wheeling a couple weekends ago and encountered an issue; just wanted to post about it so that it's here in case anyone runs into the same problem. I was going downhill at a 2-mph crawl in 2nd gear in 4L. I decided to downshift to 1st gear to slow the crawl because I was in a...
  4. F150LEDs Ranger Raptor Build Thread

Dropping the wiring harness into the wheel well is far more difficult on the raptor than it is on the regular Ranger (as shown in the video). I think I ended up taping the wiring harness to a clothes hanger and using that to guide it into the wheel well so I could connect it to the side marker...
  5. Trying to find a happy medium between lifting and off-roading

Hey guys, I've been browsing for a while and figured out that I definitely want to lift the truck enough to clear 35" tires. I want to keep the stock beadlock capable wheels as well. If I get the GOAT strut spacers, will I need to do anything to the UCA? I want to actually increase the off...
  6. Borla Exhaust Video/Walkthrough

I can hear a difference. It sounds like it has a little more of a gurgle at the low RPMs which is nice, but it still sounds like an angry wasp at higher RPMs. I'd rather increase induction noise and I'm trying to figure that out still. Probably an upgraded intercooler and maybe a CAI?
  7. Addictive Desert Designs Front Bumper - Texas Revving

Agreed 100%. It looks great, but for ~$3K with lights included, it just doesn't seem worth it. I guess what you're buying is a quality bumper that's compatible with most of the truck's OEM features (sensors, camera, etc.). This is also a stupid question, but how do you mount a license plate to...
  8. (Vendor Update) Stay Away from f150leds.com

It wasn't an issue of tapering the back of the lights like they say on the website - my issue was getting the top and bottom dimensions to fit inside the grill housing. It was just too tight of a squeeze.
  9. (Vendor Update) Stay Away from f150leds.com

I had similar issues with my installation. They just don't fit and that's clear as day. A dremel isn't going to make them fit. They also do not easily connect to the side markers - you need to partially remove the panel in the wheel well to get to the wire tap-in harness. I only found this out...
  10. F150LEDs Ranger Raptor Build Thread

The sand color looks great! Curious to see the installation process of the 3 amber grill light setup. My installation process was pretty difficult.
  11. Wheel Spacer depth?

    Awesome, thanks for the update.
  12. Wheel Spacer depth?

Any updates on this? Looking into getting some spacers for my OEM beadlocks
  13. Anyone try installing their own "DIY" molle panels or cargo management?

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll definitely look into those containers. I tried searching, but couldn’t really find a DIY project that coincided with my preferences.
  14. Anyone try installing their own "DIY" molle panels or cargo management?

I'm looking to organize my bed a little bit more securely. I have a couple of off-roading/camping trips planned for the summer and would prefer if my bags, containers, and gear weren't rolling around in the back. Problem is, the molle panels are ridiculously expensive and the OEM cargo rails...
  15. F150 LEDs amber grill lights installed

This was a bit easier (once I managed to get the harness down there) than soldering and all that. I’m a novice when it comes to anything electrical, so apart from the actual process of getting everything where it needed to be, tapping into the side marker wires with the provided hardware...
  16. F150 LEDs amber grill lights installed

Not sure why it posted before I could add body text. These look great, but the install was pretty annoying. As I already knew, the lights don’t fit at all. I don’t mind them sticking out a tad (as shown here), so I didn’t bother with a dremel. You also can’t fit a 1/2” drill bit into the grill...
  17. Marker Light Wiring Questions

Thanks for the response so long after the most recent post. I ended up having to move aside the panel inside of the wheel well. Otherwise, there was no way I was getting that harness down there.
  18. Marker Light Wiring Questions

How did you get the wiring harness down into the side marker housing? It’s such a tight fit. Should I peel back the wheel well panels?
  19. Off-roading New England

Thanks for this! I just signed up for the 101 class through ENH. This is exactly what I was looking for; I really appreciate the help.
