I ordered and installed the F150LED amber marker 3 light kit. The installation was easy, they look great, and seem higher quality than a lot of the other kits I've seen. Only issue I had was that the lights were too big to adhere to the top of the openings, but flipping them around there was enough surface area to adhere them to the bottom.

F150LED has an installation video where they show you how to hook the lights up to the side marker lights. I liked this option better than using one of the aux switches and was really easy to do with the provided t-connectors.

After a day or so of driving around I realized that the new marker lights don't come on unless the headlights are on. I would really like for them to be active whenever the DRLs are on. I know there are many ways I could do that such as using an aux or tapping into the DRLs. (If anyone knows which wires are for the DRLs please let me know.) But then I was thinking I would also like the side stock fender marker lights to also be on at all times, the side lights are visible from the front even though they are on the fender. This would give the 5 light appearance of the other Raptors. So I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do that and I could leave the new marker lights tapped into the sides? I assume there might be a setting with Forscan or maybe moving fuses around or something. (I couldn't find any options in the car settings.)

On a side note, are there any known solutions for changing the DRLs to amber to complete the signature Raptor look?

Just pry either side marker light back and the tap into the power wire. Thats what I did. Also did the same for LED side vents also. So, when the side markers are on, the 3 LED grill amber and amber LED side vents come on. Not to worried about the draw in power with LEDs.

that is exactly what I did just like the instruction video said. My issue is that I want the side and new marker lights to be illuminated during the day when the headlights are turned off.

In Forscan you can enable the Marker lights to be on with DRLs.
Sounds great. Do you happen to know what setting needs to be changed? All I have been able to find is this spreadsheet with some settings listed. Not apparent if any of those settings will do what I want.

Did you get an answer as to what changes need to be made in Forscan to enable the Marker lights to be on with DRLs. I would very much like to make this modification as well.

I received a DM with the supposed solution:

" In the BdyCM module, scroll down to “DRL with Parking Lamps. By default it is disabled, just “Enable” it and it is done. "

How did you get the wiring harness down into the side marker housing? It’s such a tight fit. Should I peel back the wheel well panels?

Sorry it has been a while don't remember exactly what I did. I do remember it was pretty easy, think I might have used some fishing tape used for pulling wires like cat5. I didn't need to take anything apart.

Also for anyone wondering the forscan setting was able to achieve what I wanted, having the marker lights on at all times, not just at night when the headlights come on.

Thanks for the response so long after the most recent post. I ended up having to move aside the panel inside of the wheel well. Otherwise, there was no way I was getting that harness down there.
