Hey there! I just watched your Youtube video about the brake lines/brackets. I have the AAA airbag kit and have been running it for a few months now as I tow a 22' RV with my RR. Instead of manually inflating each bag though, I use the kit from Air Lift (WirelessOne) and adapted it to work...
Should fit! It’s a pretty tight fit in general. You place the face of the wheel towards the bed so the inner part of the wheel is facing down. Fairly certain the face of the wheel does not actually touch the frame, the tire does, so you don’t have to worry about it scratching up the spare.
Pretty sure that’s the pressure dampers which open and close when you open/close a door. Helps equalize the pressure in the cab, if I’m not mistaken.
I have the JL Stealthbox with the TW1. Other than the physical dimensions what’s the difference between the TW1 and TW3? More RMS watts needed for the TW3 I believe - but does that come with a wider (deeper) frequency range too?
Wow well done here. Huge props. This is exactly the kind of finesse and detail I was looking for before I dove in to see if it was possible. THANK YOU for doing this, paving the way, showing pictures and even having the part number in case things go sideways. Looks great! I’ll be doing this...
I’ll echo that. I wash my own truck but with a pressure washer/foam cannon, and I never get any water in. I’ve even been stuck in torrential rains and winds; nothing. A+ from my perspective.
JL Audio sub is what I swapped it for (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13694684/JL-Audio-Stealthbox.html). That requires a crossover and separate amplifier. It’s a massive improvement in sound, but the Alpine is decent though too compared to the stock setup.
I’m sure this doesn’t help, but I did order a bed air compressor bracket from them around the new year and it shipped about a week or so into January. Everything was fine and I received it a few weeks later. Nothing seemed odd from my end. Maybe some production complication issues or something...
Selling my like-new Alpine PWE-S8 Compact powered subwoofer, which I installed in my RR for about a week. I have since moved to a JL Stealthbox and amp, instead. Other than a few extremely minor scratches which are barely visible (pics below), it's brand new (sticker on the plaque still!) and...
Nice RV! Maybe you’re like me and like to match as well, looks like a great pair!
We just picked up our Geo Pro 20BHS a few weeks ago from 6 hours away. The RR did great! The previous owner had a WDH so I used that for half of the trip (he had it set up for an F150 so it sat a bit higher than I...
I’ll be replicating this exactly! Thanks for all the work on this. “Muddy” is the exact term I’d use to explain how it sounds for me too. Thanks again!
Any power or sound difference between amps? I believe they have the same RMS wattage output for the sub, I believe. Curious what settings you'll use on the amp too. It's a nice compact package!
My hero, haha. I have been noticing this on my RR as well, so yeah, the music just gets turned up louder to drown it out. I'm trying this tomorrow AM before a 500 mile road trip so fingers crossed. Thanks again!
Thanks for the reply! Appreciate it. Think I’m going the same route with the door speaker upgrade and door deadening since I’ll be in there anyway. And yes, I don’t want the JL grill damaged. Believe there’s enough room between the grill and woofer cone not to damage the speaker but you never...
