Ford should offer a Texas Ranger model. That would be cool.
I'm in the Conroe area just north of Houston.
Have to say I have not seen very many 6G Rangers on the road.
Still enough to get the tune done?
Watch Long MacArthur on YouTube. They cover the allocation system Ford uses very well. If you ordered a Raptor you have to find a dealer the has Raptor allocations that aren't spoken for. Right now smaller Ford dealerships are getting the allocations. I...
It could be a choke used to filter noise on the wire bundle. They usually just snap together. Your dealer can replace it if it will not latch. You can wrap a tie wrap around it to hold it together until you get it in to dealership.
You should have received a message that the fob was out of range. Then more messages until it sees the key. I put mine in a faraday bag after starting the truck would not shift out of park with screen saying key not detected. If you do this after you are in gear you get a chime with the same...
Welcome to the Ranger family. Congratulations on your purchase.
I test drove all the Ranger engines, the 2.7 was sweet, smooth running engine, the old 2.3 was lacking power would be great for a fleet vehicles, the 3.0 is crazy fast with effortless power available anytime you want it.
I heard...
I'm thinking how heavy your right foot is makes the biggest difference ? I guess if you baby it around town you might do much better.
For me I got 14.2 mpg at my first fill up. Now into my second tank with it showing 14.6. That is doing normal Texas interstate speeds of 85 mph. Around town...
Could be a fit and finish issue. Maybe like it hard to close doors like mine or panel misalignment. If you don't want to continue to deal with issues check RR that are on dealership lots. I just saw a black RR at a discount in Minnesota. Just a thought. I gave up on my ordered unit and a stock...
I know it will be hard for me to avoid speeding tickets. You don't get a good sensation of the speed you are going. I was driving along the interstate doing what I thought was 70, looked down at the speedometer I was at 85.
One week of ownership without a ticket, I'll take that as a win.
Chuck Spaeth Ford in Sleepy Eye MN. They also have a dealership in New Ulm. My salesman Alex Lux was great, straight forward and honest. Dealership has honest discounted pricing without adds. Contact Alex and check what allocations they have left. Good luck
Ordered Azure Gray but changed my mind and went with Desert Sand.
Wish Ford offered more colors especially on the Raptor. Some high impact colors would be nice. I can remember way back in the day when Ford offered 30 or 40 colors each year. Of course they didn't have these creative names like...
I bought trash holder that hooks onto headrest from Amazon. Many to choose from. Not as convenient as the old sandbag trash holder on the transmission hump but it works pretty well. Was using the shopping bag stuck in the glove box door, convenient, cheap but ugly.
The Raptor seating is very comfortable. A bit better than the Lariat. For me the price difference between the Lariat and the Raptor made it a no brainier to get the Raptor. Plus the smile it I get when my right foot gets a little heavy.

My salesman is Alex Lux, 507-794-3673. They did not collect any taxes, title fees, inspection fees. Only charge was a $275 doc fees which I thought was not out of line. The shipping cost was wrapped into the deal. Shipping costs worked out to be about...
I encountered the same problem here in Texas and Louisiana. I increased my search radius and found a RR in Minnesota under MSRP. Great dealership with no markups at all. Sells at advertised price! No game playing, just an old fashion dealership that values relationships over max profits...
Sounds like you did well.
I bought a new 2025 RR from a dealer in Minnesota, it was delivered this afternoon. The experience was incredible, no markups, no adds or any attempts for Finance to up sell me. With their discount and the $1100 shipping cost added back in I came in under MSRP.
It...
Back in 1978 I ordered F150 4x4 XLT and it came in 4 weeks later. Oh I long for those days, heck I had a full spectrum of colors to choose from. Plus you could get custom colors for a fee. Now you get 50 shades of grey.
