You might be able to use an app (or two), do this: - Find a tone generator app and connect to bluetooth - Play 10 different tones: 60, 80, 100, 120, 160Hz etc. etc. - use another phone/app: sound level measure. note the dB level. - you should see a -3dB (half-power) point around 120Hz - 200Hz...

Yeah that is a good point , the mechanism would be increasing timing based on air temp, of that is done in this tune. Maybe I'll call the FP guys and ask a few questions the question is: how much better is this intercooler compared to stock? I'm thinking 10 degrees but not much more?

pretty sure it does. When I first loaded the FP tune, my truck ran super rough, it took a minute to adjust. I assume going back to stock would do the same thing.

Do you think adding an aftermarket intercooler is going to help the stock or ford performance tune? I have my doubts. I think this is mainly for a standalone ECU. Send thoughts, thx

Definitely not worth it. So far every exhaust I have heard from any company is only slightly better and many sound worse.

your look great ... so I just picked mine up at the dealer, and they were totally f'cked up. Tons of divots, and the acrylic coating on them was chipped. My guess is some pot smoking dummy threw it in a box with the bolts all lose (box was 2x too big), and stuff just bounce all over in shipping...

We do not have 93 in CA, so I am simply trying to get the octane to 93-ish world to get the most out of it. I am allowing the tune to perform the best it can. The tune will work on PSI and timing.

It's definitely a nice upgrade. The tune is not great though. For me it's very non-linear. It seems to kick on around 4K rpm. It's more like a switch vs just having more boost/power. but overall it's awesome. I run 20% e85 and 80% 91 (CA) with the tune at all times, and the tuck has adapted to...
