That's interesting.
I tried sport mode once and found it all a bit too aggressive for frequent use.
If the Ford performance tune smooths that out a bit, that would be cool.
Taller, narrower tires produce a greater contact patch when aired down than shorter, wider tires.
There are compromises in all things, but for maximum grip, you need to be looking at diameter, not tread or section width.
The tire dimensions chosen for the Raptor are appropriate. I just don't...
I'd say the Raptor's one failing grade would be the brakes. Just charge a few grand more and do better.
It's almost a fully cohesive driving experience, but the brakes let it down. I suppose all trim levels would be a bit lacking, in this respect.
EBC pads will indeed help, but they can't...
I've only willingly changed the mode once. I tried sport mode, but didn't like it.
Haven't touched it since, aside from correcting the modes when they change by themselves.
The only thing I do on occasion is place the suspension alone into sport mode via the steering wheel button, but I...
That's super awesome. You make some great stuff, from what I've seen here.
My eye is drawn to that bracket holding the Milwaukee inflator in place. 🤣
Great gear choice. I've had my inflator for a while now, and have used it just as much as the Power Tank. A sweet bracket for it would be...
I've always found Weathertech products to be quite good, and have used them in every vehicle I've owned (that they've supported) since I became aware of them. That being the case, however, I don't have any experience with the competition.
The factory floor mats in my Ranger Raptor are a bit...
The only suggestion Ford had when I spoke with them again today was to seek a second opinion at a different dealership. They themselves brought up the subject of a buyback, if the problem does present itself on a test drive.
Right now, I think my dealer has over 200 miles on it trying to...
A brief interlude:
If you're having this problem, report it to your dealership. That's the only way it will be solved.
I just spoke with Ford again. They've got nothing on this.
Now, back to recounting your tales of woe.
Was just on the horn with Ford customer service, and they suggested they're going to run the issue up the flagpole a bit, as it's a safety issue. Hopefully they do. The dealership is still working with me on it. I strongly recommend others do the same.
There's a solution to this. It just...
I got a discount on mine that neither I nor the sales manager knew was coming.
I'm not sure why, but there was indeed some manner of discount available. Then again, I didn't order it; I just bought it off the lot.
I don't connect anything to the vehicle wirelessly, but it's got a lot of it's own connections going on.
I would think it would be a little more wide-spread if that were the case, but who knows?
