  1. Backseat Seatbelt Warning Chime Issue

I had this same situation happen. I remember the rear passenger having trouble finding the right buckle but eventually did find it. Now I know the sequence to fix it! I'm glad I don't have to leave the center one buckled all the time. So grateful for all the brilliant folks on here.
  2. Gear Selector differences

This drove me crazy on my last truck, a RAM 1500. Occasionally when hooking up to a trailer, I might have to hop back in the truck to move it just an inch to get the trailer hitch to seat correctly. I had gotten in the habit of doing it quick, with the door open, my butt barely on the seat...
  3. Gear Selector differences

I liked the look of the 2024 shifter better than the 2025; however, when I actually tried it out (I bought a 2025), I liked the 2025 shifter. It's high enough to make it a very comfortable resting place for my hand. Not sure if the prior version would have allowed that.
  4. Paint blemish - worth a warranty inquiry?

Thank you! I reached out to the dealer, who said to call back Monday when the body shop guy is in. We’ll see…
  5. Paint blemish - worth a warranty inquiry?

Thanks for all the input. I'm glad to hear that there's a chance they'll warranty it, but I was worried about exactly what @smokinjoe64 mentions. And this is my only vehicle, so it would mean losing it for a bit (again). Maybe I'll reach out to the dealership and see what they say. I'm less...
  6. Paint blemish - worth a warranty inquiry?

Hi all. I bought a 2025 Ranger just before thanksgiving and currently have about 2k miles on it. I just washed it today for the first time since buying and noticed a paint blemish/scratch under the rear window weatherstripping or trim. It’s pretty small—maybe an inch or so and maybe down to...
  7. Thoughts on extended warranties?

If you decide to go with the extended warranty, you can absolutely negotiate the price with your dealer. I researched the Granger price ahead of time and had their pricing chart pulled up on my phone when I purchased my Ranger. I showed them the Granger pricing on my phone and he took it to...
  8. Waterproof tonneau cover

I just purchased and installed a TruXedo TruXport (gen 2). It's not exactly what I wanted--I had a BAK Revolver on my last truck and wanted another hard cover. But I just couldn't stomach the $1300+ for a hard rolling or even the $800+ for a hard tri fold. So I decided to go with the soft...
  9. Lane Keeping--Useful and Entertaining

I haven't done this test with my Ranger yet (I've only had it a couple weeks), but it's been on my mind. I recently rented a Mercedes GLE350 on a trip and it had a similar setup with adaptive cruise and lane keep. That car was able to cruise down the highway with no input from me and no...
  10. My new Ranger - thanks for all the info!

Oh wow! That’s a shame. I’ve been fascinated by the headlights. So cool to watch them dance around at startup. I’m starting to like my purchase decision even more. Thanks for making me feel better!
  11. My new Ranger - thanks for all the info!

I agree--that back seat will be an adjustment for me too. On my Ram 1500, I used to put my bike back there, standing up with both wheels still on. I'm not sure the bike will even fit in the bed of this one!
  12. My new Ranger - thanks for all the info!

They all look great but I agree--the black rims definitely add something.
  13. My new Ranger - thanks for all the info!

Oh cool, I didn't realize that! Does that mean it's value will go up
  14. My new Ranger - thanks for all the info!

I brought home a new 2025 Ranger Lariat 2.7 yesterday, after a couple weeks of agonizing stress over which vehicle to buy. My 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie was getting up there in miles and it was time for something new. I’ve never been brand loyal, so I considered all the options but was very skeptical...
