I had this same situation happen. I remember the rear passenger having trouble finding the right buckle but eventually did find it. Now I know the sequence to fix it! I'm glad I don't have to leave the center one buckled all the time. So grateful for all the brilliant folks on here.

I liked the look of the 2024 shifter better than the 2025; however, when I actually tried it out (I bought a 2025), I liked the 2025 shifter. It's high enough to make it a very comfortable resting place for my hand. Not sure if the prior version would have allowed that.

I agree--that back seat will be an adjustment for me too. On my Ram 1500, I used to put my bike back there, standing up with both wheels still on. I'm not sure the bike will even fit in the bed of this one!
