Just wondering if anybody has made a hatch in the front fender liner for easy access to the 2.3 engine oil filter. I have been thinking about how to best create a hatch with fastener.

I had read soemewhere that by removing the engine covers, the 2.7 in the f150s ran cooler under heavy load.

The J-Brace issue seems to be non- existent here in Canada. There is no mention of it in our owners manuals and Ford dealers never heard about it.

My XLT is the same. Standing alongside the truck bed My XLT is the same. It was one of the first things I noticed when I bought the truck.

Also, My XLT with standard package can be set up the same way minus the speed limit guage.

There is a button on the center console that will disable it but you have to push it each time you start. (I guess I should have said deactivate it.)

Yes, I noticed in the owners manual that with electronic transmission (Lariat) it lights up.

If you mean the motor auto shut off mode, yes it works but I disable it.

Mine doesn’t have those drive modes.
