I started to note that while mine is an XLT with Sport Appearance and FX4 packages and basic tow package, it does not have the sport, eco, etc drive modes. I bought mine off the dealer’s lot so I figure there must be a different package that is needed for those drive modes.

Curt makes a mobile wireless brake controller that uses bluetooth but I don’t know how well it will work or if there is any chance it might screw up the truck’s electronics in some way. So, I will wait for a while to see what the dealer comes up with but I’m not waiting too long.
