    The criteria seems to be if the expected load on the bed is above 88 lbs and you're going to offroad some, then yes, j braces are needed.

    What the heck happened there? That had to be a massive hit/bump combined with too much weight or stress already on the panel from the rear tie downs no? I can't imagine it collapsing in from loading and hauling with just a reasonable amount of tension... but wow either way. RR is an amazing...

    Just received the braces today which I paid for with Ford points. I was able to request a line item in the sales contract with my dealer that they take on the cost of the install if I ordered the braces with points. This whole thing rubbed me the wrong way after dropping this amount on a truck...

    The only way I was okay with a 5'1" bed is because I now only hitch haul motorbikes (mainly sportbikes) for the last 4 years since a bad off resulted in a weak shoulder and nerve damage making it harder to load into beds. I swear by my mototote with 4 pin light kit. Also frees up the bed for gas...

    Been wondering if anyone else had a wedge camper fitted to a 2024 Ranger yet. The GFC looks great. I am considering the Oru designs bruin but a bit concerned with how it will have straight sidewalls and a pretty large platform over the cab. For now I've got the j-braces ordered with points...
