I am only replying to this since I got an email. I said rated as in the rated horsepower/torque numbers provided by ford. The 2.3l was rated on 87 octane, but the 2.7, and 3.0l were not. So yes, you can use 87 in all of them, but only the 2.3L achieves it's rated power numbers on 87 octane.

It is supposed to be cloth like the front. It is just an XLT and the front seats are the correct sport cloth haha.

I wouldn't have minded if the front seats matched haha. My dealer also added the side steps, and tonneau cover without me asking, so I am glad I bailed on it. Not that it is Fords fault the dealer added stuff they weren't told to.

To track by rail you would need information that only your dealer can get for you.

My dealer just listed the ranger I had ordered and bailed on. No idea on the undercarriage, but I am pretty sure they put a ranger raptor seat in the rear. It is an XLT high, and not a RR. I wonder what else is wrong like this.

2023 only, and it looks like they are selling fast. I did pull the trigger yesterday. Pretty sweet truck for the price, and with the 360 degree camera, parking isn't to bad.

It doesn't look like there will be any financing deals for the ranger. I can get an xlt high powerboost for 55k 1.9% for 72. I may actually opt for that as my xlt is 45k. The different in interest is pretty substantial.

This helps confirm that the 2.7l is limited to the 4x4 only. Previous literature alluded to this as well.

It was posted a long time ago, but not the 2.7l mpg. They round the MPG numbers, so I imagine the combined is a reflection of the average rounding down and not up. The highway MPG is probably closer to 22.5

I personally dislike race red, but hot pepper red is pretty sweet in different lighting conditions.

Honestly, you can talk to ford chat or your dealer all you want, but at the end of the day, you will get the most info when the tracker moves to built and then shipped.

The problem with the tracker is that it also requires the order number, and they implemented an anti bot check when querying. Probably to prevent this exact thing from working.

The okay to buy just happened at the end of February, so I wouldn't have expected anything before then. My tracker actually says shipped with 3/10/24 as the date, so this is the real deal.

As of this morning my truck changed to shipped with an ETD between 3/24 and 4/06. It is by rail, and I live in Maine so it has a ways to go from the factory.

Mine just swapped back from built to "We received your order". All of the dates are still there. I am sure it is just a tracker bug. I haven't placed much stock in it personally.

I saw mention of the $1000 factory rebate being for pre-orders only. Looks like that is actually a thing based on that. Sadly it looks like there are no financing offers... It is also worth mentioning it has the Auto Start/Stop button which tells me Auto Start/stop is present.

87 because that is what ford rated the engine on for power/fuel economy. (2.3L) The 2.7l and 3.0l were rated on premium fuel.

2024 colorado's had a stop sale unless that just changed.
