Backed into a concrete bollard in a parking lot. It was on my rear driver side corner. No rear side bumper sensor on my XLSTX like my Lariat had. Doesnāt look like much but donāt be fooled, a new bumper, rear bed panel, light assembly, tow hitch bracket, and misc. Womp.
I drove to Minnesota and back this week, 1,062 miles round trip, 25.1 mpg. Have my 2024 XL STX since May ā24 and has been flawless. Upgraded with with a spray-in liner, soft tonneau cover, and new wheels. š¤
I had the Husky brand on my 2019 Lariat, but have the Ford OEM on my 2024. Both are fine and stupid expensive for pieces of cheap plastic. I also have the running boards for added protection, or comfort anyway.
Iām more concerned with factory paint flaking Iām seeing.
All sorts of electrical alarm fails repeatedly. All caused by transmission surges, lurching, shifting issues. 70 days total in shop in the one year I had it. They replaced the pedal sensor, fuse box harness, fuse box, battery cable sensor, 4x4 controller, multiple various sensors, on and on and...
Iām glad you posted this because I have a 2024 XL STX and I have noticed mine has done this too a few times. I am pushing 20,000 miles and Iāve noticed it at intersections idling and thought it may be an idle adjustment needed, being too low.
Hold them accountable. Sadly they did not help me on my Lariat. Even when they offered to provide me a year of free service and I accepted they ghosted me in May and have never responded to my inquiries of how to utilize service.
