Bone stock. 100km/h on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Washboard and loose sand and gravel be dammed.
Hit 150 at one point. This thing never ceases to amaze me…
It’s not bad. When I first saw it I thought it was going to be one of those all electronic, “Jeep that killed Chekhov” kinda things. It’s actually still got a notch for each gear. Height and reach is great. Can rest my hand there and still reach the climate controls if I need to. The manual mode...
Take a look at Ford’s accessories page for the truck. Lots of fantastic add ons. You’ll love the location for onboard air and others I think! Working on some upgrades for my Gen 6 WildTrak and will post pics when they’re done, but with two years between the launch here and there the aftermarket...
Can’t speak to what it’s going to be back there, but out here the XLT is one of the lowest tier trim lines. Above it you have the Sport, WildTrak, and Raptor. My WildTrak is most comparable to the Tremor. There’s a TON of changes that went into them. Great features, great tech. Incredible...
So far so good! About 900kms on a tank… loads of torque… gearing is solid. Very well made all around. Haven’t towed yet but for everything else I’ve done it’s been great!
For our diesel versions of the gen 6, Ford actually offers an extended range (36 gallon) fuel tank in the accessory catalog. . Would love to see that as an option back home. The Bronco guys have been looking for one for years, especially on the 2 door…
Took the WT out exploring the other day. Ended up with some fairly high speed desert running (110km/h or so) over heavy washboard trails leading to hard clay pan, followed by deep sand and then loose rock. Got caught in a WILD storm on the way out and had to travel in some of the thickest...
Longest part of the process was waiting for the wire transfer from my US bank to pay for it. Truck was on the lot. It’s loaded up, and I hope most of it transfers to the US market. Has some great features and doesn’t seem bound by many of the supply chain constraints that have hit other product...
It's a shame too... I absolutely love the diesel in mine. Runs well... great mileage... great torque. I'd buy one in the States when I get back in second... especially with the towing capacity. I don't need a full size truck other than to get the towing capacity to pull my boat. My WildTrak here...
Howdee gang! Introducing myself as the owner of a brand new Gen 6 Ranger WildTrak. Picked it up on 12 January 2023 and gotta say, most of y’all are going to love it! I say most because after being on other forums for my Bronco, Jeeps, and Raptors, I know there are those on forums that basically...
