I find the quality to be great. I've had a LOT of cars but in terms of mid sized trucks specifically I've had a Mazda B4000 (as a farm truck), a 2nd Gen Tacoma Off-Road and a 3rd Gen Tacoma TRD Pro. Out of those, the RR might as well be a Rolls-Royce in terms of quality of materials, design and...
22000 miles and never once had anything like that happen.
Also googling it made me feel like it’s an even smaller issue than I expected it to be. There are like 2 Reddit posts with a couple replies and a few posts here without many replies (nothing compared to things that are a real problem)...
Only the outer layer of it. (I’m going by other users who previously claimed to have inspected it and said it was closed cell foam with an outer layer of fiber). Regardless, it’s doing what it’s designed to do.
It's closed cell foam on the inside, which is waterproof. It reduces wind noise, road noise and resonance and also keeps dirt and debris from getting in-between body panels where it is located. If it didn't have a function Ford wouldn't spend money putting it there. Lets say they pay $2 a truck...
No. I cringe deep inside when people have a name for their car and I can't help it. Calling your raptor Vivian seems insulting. They did it in Gone in 60 Seconds so they could steal them without anyone catching wind of what they were going to steal. I'm not stealing my own truck 😛
That might be a regular F-150 Raptor with some R flare. The Raptor R has resonated exhaust tips that would have been obvious near the end of the video.
I would hold onto the stock running boards for a while to make sure you're ok with those day to day. The OEM running boards for the Raptor are over a thousand dollars a piece for each side to buy them new and they are much more heavy duty than you would expect. They also don't actually impact...
I had this same kit and got a laugh out of it before most of it ended up in the trash can. I think someone in china got scans of the truck and haphazardly made mats for random flat areas of the cabin (while somehow not including mats for many of the areas where you would want them). A couple of...
I put 25k miles on a set of A/T4Ws before I got rid of my Tacoma TRD Pro and they were super quiet (for many miles), the ride was very comfortable and they had more grip on wet pavement than any other A/T tire I have ever used. That said they are very heavy tires which negatively impacted MPG...
I have the trim from them that goes around the memory seat/door lock buttons because I thought that specific area looked unfinished. Only downside for me was how slow they were. It took them a month to send me 3 color samples.
Motorcraft Full Synthetic is hands down the best for this truck imo, it’s just expensive. It’s what the engine is designed to use and on top of that there are plenty of 3rd party tests out there showing that it has a better additive package than Mobile 1, etc.
Is this a joke? :p A quarter of the very first page of this forum is literally posts about this. There are hundreds of threads about it. It’s been out for a year.
So your top issue is speculation someone came up with to rile people up and get clicks? :p
Actually it’s a stretch to say they came up with it because it’s the same shit they’ve been speculating for like 15+ years.
It is common in China from what I understand. Automakers know that most people...
lol, the people who made this plug adaptor replied before you and agreed and expounded on the suspected reasoning?
I promise you the reason wasnt cost. It costs more to do something different on a particular model than to do something the same. Creating a whole bracket and welding it to the...
I would guess the reason the plug is in a different location on the Raptor in the US is due to some sort of silly regulation/rule about the proximity of the wiring to the spare tire. With the Raptor having a 33" spare, the tire gets super close to where the wiring comes through the bumper and...
