After watching every YouTube video and reading every review on this truck while waiting for it come out and waiting to the moment where they would say “this truck can fit a full sheet of plywood in it!” and not really understanding how useful that is as a first time truck owner, I finally took...
Post would have been better with mulch payload pic. Congrats on the truck, my first truck too, having a functional vehicle is amazing especially if you own a home.
Yes it’s a little annoying that you have to jiggle the wheel as opposed to just squeezing it like some brands but I suppose the trade off is the slight nudging of the steering to keep you in the lane is so much gentler and non intrusive than other systems I have used and the beeping when it does...
Tinted rear tail lights and rear brake light, need to get black screws for rear brake light now as the silver ones stand out too much. Also smoked orange marker lights on front wheel wells and they blend in to the grey perfectly now
Ended up getting full ceramic coating because truck is black and planning keeping ten years and was on the fence about PPF due to cost but on day three of owning it I took a good stone chip to my hood and said “F it” if I’m spending this type of money I want my truck to look good long term...
Wireless charging is inferior and pointless, if you want efficient charging just plug in, wireless charging essentially maintains charge and puts the phone in a useless place. It’s technology that sounds good but honestly is worthless unless you are in a pinch and forget to bring a charging cable.
tap setting button in top left of screen
Tap phone list
Tap on your phone
Tap the CarPlay button shown above highlighted in blue, that will disconnect carplay
Tap CarPlay button again and it will reconnect
this seems to be the fastest and least aggravating way to rectify it
Lol, sure enough, there it is, thanks, don’t know why i didn’t look at that earlier. Still feels like it should be default setting but whatever, as long as it’s fixable, thanks.
Something about that doesn’t make sense. Even if I look at my full trip data for there and back and all of the local driving i did while I was in Wilmington, Charleston and Savannah (1800 miles) I was getting 22mpg
Just did a 12 hour straight drive from Savannah, Georgia to Trenton,New Jersey. I figured people might like to see the drive data. I felt like this is a good example of the type of practical activity/usage that makes midsize pickups appealing to people since oftentimes theres debate about these...
I have a black truck and I would really like to find a gray that matches the bumpers and wheel well arches on the lariat, but I don’t know what that color is called
In addition to tints just got full front PPF as well as PPF on rear quarter panels. Also got 5 year ceramic coat, can’t believe how good paint looked this morning.
Very happy with what I had done. 50% ceramic on windshield has desired effect from outside with 0 visibility issues from inside, first time doing ceramic tint and difference is noticeable and worth the added cost.
