Same, seems silly every car is going to have some problem, it's just statistically ineviatable. It still sucks though.
I'm on my 11th Ford and haven't had any issues (scares me as I'm probably due).
I generally don't mind, it works great on my diesel jeep, the raptor, (it's not on the mustang though I would think the Whipple tune would disable it). I don't buy the "wears out your car faster" as even the manufactures say it's designed for it, they aren't building the same starter they had...
Looks great and welcome! The Shelter Green looks so different in the various lighting, really a cool color. I have the same spec as you but in Carbonized Grey
A little bit... it's far less course than the bed liner, which I was concerned would damage some of the things I carry (pinball machines) but didn't want the smooth painted bed. I'd say it's typical rubber mat grippy and should be great for tool/tackle boxes and the like of sufficient weight.
I ordered the black reflective set for my CG raptor, will post pics when they come in. After seeing them more I'm afraid I won't like them with the grey truck and the black/grey camo looking pattern of them. Hopefully I can just return them for black ones if so.
It still functions the same as the OEM unit (technically) If I had any issues I an put the OEM one back on in like 2 minutes. I know of several bronco raptors (same engine) that have been running the turbosmart unit for some time with no issues.
I'm not even in the ballpark of 20 MPG - but I have no highway driving, so that's probably the most of it. (I also have a heavy foot :) and that sport mode exhaust and new BOV I just put on sound too good )
Nice! I was super lucky to just decide to buy one, found an in transit that day, it was delivered that night, and drove it home the next day - but that seems to be a rare story. Good on you for getting the no ADM train
