Replying to this so I remember. I have a Viofo in the box- seems nice. In the Explorer I have a Chortau (or something like that) That one is harder to work with, still not 100% sure how to use all the features even after having it a few years now. Good part is it doubles as a reverse camera...
I'm hoping to spend some time this week or next installing the Bakflip MX4 & Keko seal kit. Will make a writeup when this is done, since it looks like the DIBL will need some mods to accomadate the BF & seals.
No not really haha I still dont think the instructions themselves are super helpful except for folks talking about the DIBL haha.
Glad its helpful though!
Bed shouldnt rust. The old Rangers would rust though. Ill keep an eye out and report back. The only solution to keeping water out that I can think of is drilling holes. Abrasion wise I suppose over time it kight scratch it but Im not too worried about it since its a hard but flexible plastic...
Crossposting from my original post on the Explorer forum.
1. Open the box up, should look like this (minu the toolbox) & come with a bag of hardware

3. Use T40 Torx to remove the 6 bed tiedowns (You don't have to remove the bed light and the power sockets...
Not an RR but bought the Ranger from Gosch off the lot. Got a good discount and financing deal. Would do again. Not sure about RRs though, or earlier in the year sales. Bought right before Halloween.
EDIT: Sorry I just realized this is a dead thread.
I was close on the second one! My dad works for SCE so I've spent lots of time at Intake 2, etc, so I know exactly where you're talking about!!! Can't wait for season to open again, my hopes for this year are Cerro Gordo, Leavitt lake, and a handful by the Virginias
Is this up by Bishop in the second picture? Looks like by Olancha Dunes in the first? Or theyre probably both at the same place haha. Nice ride! Once fishing season opens maybe Ill see you on the 395
