Partsgeek.com specifically advertises them as fitting the 2024. The instructions say 2019+ Ford Ranger Bumper Grille Insert.
they are supposed to mount to valance and the license plate mounting screws. There aren’t any in that area on the 24.
anyone come across a solution? I held it in place and...
I ordered the Rev folding hard tonneau from the FORD website using $300 in points and 25% off installed. So out the door for right around a grand. I placed the order about 10 pm Wednesday night. I just got notified that I can schedule an appointment for installation, it was at the dealership!
I...
Anybody gotten a survey and answered it and gotten a response to the specific concerns question?
I asked them to respond to the question about the white fiber material between the bed and cab. I also asked them to respond to why J braces are not a recall item.. be interesting if I get a...
I have seen the posts about drilling out the 4 rivets that hold the wheel well liner on. I am doing the EGR J Braces this week and I have thought about an alternative to pop riveting it back. I am thinking about using a rivnut of an appropriate size and then a bolt and washer to secure it. That...
I haven’t decided what I want to do regarding a bedcover/ toolbox yet. I needed some light tie downs mostly to keep stuff from sliding around. 6mm and 8mm stainless eyebolts into the threaded inserts from the factory. The hook to reach stuff is a 3/4 plastic rod from Amazon. I secured it to the...
2 wheel drive where do I attach straps/hooks on the front end? I have a friend coming with a Jeep with a winch. I don’t have tow hooks under the bumper.
I have my EGR J braces but now I am wondering, are they different than the OEM braces? Anyone have a picture of the OEM non Raptor braces. The one on the FORD website is not very clear.
I got mine today, $101 including tax. They look like a pretty decent product, fairly straightforward instructions. My kid the body tech is going to help me put them on. (Who am I kidding, I am going to help him.)
The necessity of even having to do this pisses me off though, FORD should have put...
The space where there should have been ac vent should have been? Seems like an oddly spaced shape and not much other than a place for a back seat passenger to store a phone.
I saw a post somewhere and thought I had saved it regarding a toolbox that fits into the tailgate area. Not sure if it was a Ranger or not, looked like it fit into the area where the screws are.
There are six 6mm threaded inserts (3 on each side) basically up under the rails. They go from the back forward, starting above the bed lights and spaced out approximately every 8 inches.
my other question is, what are the 4 plastic plugs in the “pillars” of the bed at each corner?
There is so much great info in this group, i thought i would ask here. Looking at various accessories, I have seen some that won’t work together (driver side swing out storage box if you have the electric outlets in the bed for example)
Went to the local truck accessory shop today and was looking at different covers. I was disappointed that they have to drill holes for the drain tubes, (but it makes sense). He showed me where they would drill. The oblong plastic plug in each lower corner.
Then we talked about the white fiber...
Borrowed the picture from another post. Top of the bed rails looks like 3 on each side. My guess is 8mm. Back by the tailgate. My best guess is the swing out side mounted toolboxes.
I made a new one for my RANGER. 36” black plastic 3/4” rod from Amazon ($14), bike handle bar grip, Amazon ($8 pr) , black hook LOWES ($7.50) held on with a couple insulated aluminum cable clamps off the shelf. I may have to move it when I get my bedcover.
Piece of white fabric that feels like underlayment or insulation between the cab and bed . I saw it when I was changing the bulbs in the cargo lights to LED’s
