On the positive side at least it's not sitting in a parking lot built and rusting in the elements.
Maybe not as true today, but a car sitting in hot and cold weather without being driven for months on end was always bad for them. Hoses and what not.
I have, nothing has been that close. Most of them are white and I don't want white or chrome packages. None of them have the advanced tow package that I have scene either.
I've had my current vehicle for almost 18 yrs. I don't buy new one's all the time and don't want something I will be unhappy...
I've pretty much given up at this point.
Spring project's not happening since I really needed a truck to do it.
Summer Vacation that I've been planning and telling the kids we were doing not happening. (Other smaller trips in the works)
Part of me doesn't even want the truck anymore. Dealer...
Article is about the batch 2 v6 but mentions an issue with the hood as holding up deliveries.

I saw one with an 18-20k markup here when I was considering buying an in stock standard ranger since I'm still waiting on mine.
Even though they didn't have the mark up on the normal ranger Icrossed that dealer off my list.
20k markup is just ridiculous and I don't want to do business with them...
I had actually almost updated that post to include the MPG once I thought about. I always forget about that.
I plan to tow 6-6500 lbs. Also the lower payload capacity plays into towing. I do plan to bring my wife and 2 kids (even if i don't want to) so any extra payload helps.
The 1805 is on 4 x2 not 4x4. Other options also bring down the max. I believe my XLT with off road packages and advanced tow package is at 1514 lbs for the payload. It could be more, but that seems to be what I remember by looking at other vehicles with similar options.
Yes the normal engine does a good job.
I don't see there being any issue towing with the v6 at all.
Just curious of how much payload I'd lose by changing engine.
Not a huge deal. I will likely go into the dealership this weekend.
$2,100 then losing the $1000 pre-order might make me stick with...
Hrmm, anyone know what the weight different is for the v6 vs 4 cylinder?
I'm just wondering how much payload I'll lose.
Really the only reason I want it is for pulling the trailer I plan to buy and I think it would be nice for the mountain passes and on ramps.
So glad I ordered mine mid last years because I wanted to get it sooner rather than wait for the v6 model. Even though I wanted it.
Sure did pay off since I haven't got the other one yet.
tempted to do a re-order now. All my summer plans and vacation are pretty much messed over for this year...

I've looked around and only found 4 that are at dealerships. 2 white bleh and 1 lariat that's close to what I ordered.
I've even started eyeing F-150's but i really don't want that big of a truck
Since I haven't done it in over a month called the ford number. Was told it was released to Carrier with no EST shipped date. Maybe it's finally out of the hold status at least.
Dealer had been keeping me updated every week, but not this week so I might annoy them tomorrow or Friday if they...
Also received yet another 45 day generic email update that tells you nothing today. YAY!
