  1. Raptor Key Fob Question.

My 25 did. You can always just change the cover. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1801-FP3
  2. I'm confused on Order Scheduling

An order bank is basically the collection of open orders for a particular model. If it is open, orders can be placed by your dealer. You should probably watch at least the first 5 minutes or so one of Long McArthurs scheduling videos on YouTube to get a feel for how the allocation system works.
  3. Yet Another Recall For Trailer Module

And then there is the seat bolt one... It might be more concerning once the stream stops.
  4. Recall Notice 26C10 / NHTSA Recall 26V104

I wouldn't wait for it, if you need it. I'm not sure where the idea came from that the ranger couldn't be updated OTA, but it will eventually be applied to your truck.
  5. Procal update for RR

If there was an actual change to the tune, Ford would probably have to reapply for certification again. I have my doubts there is any real value in updating after the tune has been applied.
  6. 2026 MY Assaults are NOT available as of April 7th

IIRC, they were completely booked for 2025 well before mine came in July of 2025. I had to wait until they opened up 2026 scheduling to get mine scheduled.
  7. Tailgate ruler impact to tonneau cover seal?

If yours is anything like my X4s, you will have nothing to worry about. The seal doesn't really make contact with the tailgate.
  8. 5 months of ownership

Mine is about 9 months old now. 10.5k miles on it.
  9. Wireless Apple Carplay - Text Message Question

Mine shows a notification when it comes in. If you happen to see it, you can tap it and Siri will read it.
  10. What Jim Farley Learned About Trucks From a Trip to the Outback (Australia)

For the ROW, the Ranger is the truck for the region though right? So it makes sense that it gets more/all of the configuration options. I don't blame Ford for bundling options/trims on the Maverick and Ranger. The Ranger is like a 1/10th of the sales of the F series. The Mav is like a 1/5th.
  11. Ford software beta program invitation

I wouldn't say "nothing happens." It might not happen. Even if it does, I wouldn't worry about working with beta ECM firmware or some such.
  12. Ford software beta program invitation

I applied and was accepted. As a software engineer, I always appreciate early feedback.
  13. Can you shift from 2H to 4H while driving in a 2024 ford ranger xl 4wd supercrew 2.3L

Everything I've read about Ford's Electronic Shift on the Fly system suggests that it is higher than that. The couple times I've switched to 4H on my truck, though? I was probably sub-15MPH at the time.
  14. Can you shift from 2H to 4H while driving in a 2024 ford ranger xl 4wd supercrew 2.3L

    It's also available online. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Index?Variantid=9478&languageCode=EN&countryCode=USA&VIN=&userMarket=usa&div=f&buildtype=web
  15. Big Brother monitoring in 2027 - Reason to buy now [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

They do not trust the technology yet either, it seems. Scroll to the end... https://www.nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.gov/files/2026-03/Report-to-Congress-Advanced-Impaired-Driving-Prevention-Technology.pdf I wouldn't worry about 2027... at least on this front.
  16. Under Cover Pivot toolbox install

That is why I removed mine first. If a mess was going to be made, I was going to cause (and deal with) it. Not by a shop that was spraying the bed liner. All told: Nine came out without any form of heat, just a TP40 and a breaker bar. Two were stripped and required heat to finish the job...
  17. Under Cover Pivot toolbox install

Yes It was recessed a little, but close enough. The crack happened a little less than half way down.
  18. Under Cover Pivot toolbox install

I had one snap on me as well. Thankfully it was right behind a taillight.
