My truck's status updated this morning to built. Delivery estimate, this week. We'll see how accurate that actually is... :LOL:

The day it goes into production is really the day that they issued the window sticker. The window sticker has a blend date on it at the top. Mine was issued on the 29th, with a blend date of the 8th. I've seen Ford's site say that a truck that hasn't even blended yet was "in-transit." So....

I think they have already started scheduling for August. If I was looking for delivery while the weather is still relatively nice out... I'd would probably seriously consider purchasing one already on a lot somewhere.

I thought the acoustics were pretty reasonable, seeing that it is a convertible. I was going to order a 2dr, but the shift to Badlands (goodies I don't need) and the lack of a 2.7 were deal breakers for me.

If the dealer is big enough, or the timing was great... It is certainly possible. I ordered 4/7 at a small dealer without an allocation at the time (and one other person in front of me). 4/17 it was scheduled for the beginning of June. So it can happen... but I would expect a longer wait and...

I emailed Builtright about the bedside panels in early April and they told me late Q2. So hopefully at some point.
