Does anybody offer an aftermarket, dual, rear exit exhaust for the '25 2.7? I looked at Boral, Gibson and Ford Performance, and they all have side exit exhausts only. I would be interested in something like that which comes on the Raptor.
Well, they just dropped the price another 1k. I am getting some people over on the 5G forum that say getting the 6G for the 10R60 may not be smart, because people don't have enough miles on the 6G to see if it's more reliable than the 10R80.
Still looking at 6G's with the V6. My issue is symmetry. Can't stand the awkward look of the single sideway protruding tailpipe. I got a dual rear exit exhaust for my 5G, and I think it looks great. And since it's tuned, it gets me a few more HP's.
Ever notice the Colorados and Canyons? Their...
Ok, still on the fence on this. I worked up the nerve to ask the wife "you think I should go look at that truck"? And before the question could even sink in, she said "oh look, an eagle"! Sure enough, a beautiful bald eagle was perched in a tree in our back yard. Was this an omen? I still don't...
I haven't even looked at it yet. In the evenings after a couple of drinks I'm all like I really gotta go drive it. Then the next morning I'm all like what am I thinking, I got my 5G all set up nice! I'm kinda waiting to see if they'll drop it anymore or how motivated the salesman is and emails...
I tuned my 5G while it still had warranty left. So did numerous others. Never heard one of them have warranty issues. Ford would have to prove the tune caused the failure.
Looks like Livernois has a tune out. I am currently running their performance tune on my 5G.

I checked all the dealers I would be willing to drive to, big or small. This truck was a standout. I am having an internal battle, as I don't really need it, and still enjoying the 5G. But yes, there are many upgrades the 6G provides, I am sure I would not regret it.
