For a first timer, best part was seeing the race trucks up close and the Ranger Raptor with the body off.
Chance to meet the other drivers and some of the staff. Ours was a Sunday evening, so not all of the instructors were there, as best I could tell.
Meal was better than expected.

You will split driving time with other person in the truck. After a short class, it’s about 25 minute drive out to the BLM trails and tracks they have set up.
There is a short lunch break and a few brief bio breaks. There is some waiting in line for various exercises, but the majority of the...
Buy some valve stem extensions. I went with Milton 3/4” brass. Have had no problems, but one poster had a bad valve on one of his, so look them over before installing.
It came on my RR and while I would not have ordered it, I have used it countless times. I don’t always have keys or phone on me and the app is way slower.
Was there 10/21/24 and the weather was perfect. Great time with awesome instructors. Great way to learn about your truck’s capabilities. Have fun and take a friend, if they can swing the cost.
That’s something to be thankful for! Way to jump in with both feet, awesome first truck!
Love the color!
I went with the UnderCover Ultra Flex tonneau from RealTruck and have been very satisfied so far.

Glad to see your post!
Your shop installed my tonneau cover and I’m planning on bringing my Ranger Raptor in for some Forscan edits.
See you guys soon!

Thanks for the response! YES, the horn blast is annoying as hell. Bet it can be turned off.
I have crossed a few railroad crossings and have not had that warning, yet…
In order to avoid what looks like a steep learning curve, I have identified a local shop that can make Forscan changes. Rather than make multiple trips and possibly save on labor charges, I would like to go in with a list. I’m soliciting suggestions and advice.
Here’s what I have so far:

14” extension hose for spare tire valve stem. So I can check pressure without dropping the spare. Needed to drop the spare to lower the pressure from 50 psi shipping pressure anyway.
I dropped mine to add an extension hose and the only issue I had was a slight offset when inserting the bar. No length issues. And have not attempted to carry factory wheel.
I had a similar experience. Had to hammer torx driver into spray in bedliner from the factory. Three bolts gave up grudgingly, but stripped the head of the fourth. Broke an easy out and resorted to using channel locks. Ugh, shouldn’t have to be that hard…
