Since when don’t people use toppers or bed racks? It’s been a thing for as long as I can remember. It’s a BASIC requirement for all trucks. That’s a Product Engineering misstep. How do you forget to check that?!

The main thing is Ford is making the customer pay for an engineering mistake. They should pony up and fix it. To your point we bought these things to do truck stuff. No other manufacturer is making us pay for these things. It’s plain and simple mistake that the customer is having to pay for. ?

I had this issue on my 2021 Bronco. You should be good. The seal should come in pretty quick and they’ll have you up and running in no time. I had no issues after I had mine replaced. What usually takes so long is getting it looked at.
