Yea. You see at the bottom where it states the rear 500# springs? That’s them. They are super close to releasing them. I called a couple weeks ago. I think they are even going to have a 1,000# spring too. I’m impatiently waiting.
Oh yea. It’s definately higher than stock. I have decked system too. I’m putting a winch on the front and hoping that helps bring the front down a little bit more too.
Stock vs Lifted front
Today was install day. Ordered the Eibach 2.3inch front springs to work with the stock Fox live valve strut. I also had the Method Race Wheels 305 NV Double Black 17inch +25 offset ordered and 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts.
All the parts showed up and took it in today to have...
I’m trying to remember if these sliders were the ones that required some medication in order to mount. Isn’t there a brake line or something in the way?
Awesome. Just ordered same wheels and I didn’t order a 5th because I didn’t think it would fit. I’m putting 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja boss ATs on it. I may have the installer try to put 1 of the 4 in the spare spot and if it fits order another for the spare.
That all makes sense from an off-road standpoint. I’ve heard that the narrow tires are better for snow. I guess it depends on what your norm is. For me I live in Colorado and need the extra traction for off-roading. Thanks for sharing the info.
I’ve never had issues with 12.5 and surprised that it wouldn’t be suggested over a 11.5 for a trail. More tire on the ground = greater traction. That’s why we deflate our tires.
I actually think mine is doing this as well. I have 6k on mine too. I mentioned the smell and the abundance of moisture in the coolant fill tank to the dealership. They said they didn’t see anything and that the condensation was normal. My nose is pretty spot on usually.
I’m going to use yours...
Not sure the tie rods are needed unless you are jumping the thing. Great advice about the ride leveling in forscan. Never knew it was a thing. Proper offset wheels, spacer and trimming is all most will need.
