The listing for the J-Braces says
"When installing accessories extending above the load box side rail and weighing more than 88lb (40kg) must have load box reinforcement brackets installed"
Which is pretty damn pathetic. I'd be over that with a set of overbed rails and my kayak.
In another thread someone mentioned this dongle worked for getting USB power at the mirror in the Bronco. Should be the same in the Ranger.

Ford tracker is all over the place. This morning I got the update that my truck had shipped and it said estimated delivery was later April. I checked it again this evening and now it’s saying 3/29-4/9, which is what my dealer has been telling me for a week now.
I had the factory PPF on a Toyota I bought a few years ago. It was limited to some strips on the front bumper and other wear areas around the car. Since it wasn't a full bumper-off install, the front bumper left some small areas exposed around the PPF that got peppered from rocks. If you ever...
I'd bet they're being marked Built based on where they're going. My dealer has 2 other XLT's listed that switched over to built in the last week, but they had production dates several weeks before my Raptor. Also checked a couple of other dealers nearby and they also have some of their trucks...
Yeah my Raptor finally moved from Production to Built this morning. I'm starting to believe my dealer who says the truck will be in their hands in 2 weeks.
Apparently the rear center taillight is different between AUS and US trucks, so might be some interference problems with aftermarket toppers designed for AUS market.
My dealer still says every thing on his end shows that the truck is built and scheduled to arrive by end of month, but got this email today. Silly Ford systems.
Yeah the OEM 4/7 pin connector’s tend to be a pretty deep connector. I’m sure interference with the connector is why it got relocated. Also probably why the Raptor doesn’t get the spare tire lock. Would have been nice if they’d worked up a low profile connector to make it fit in the standard...
There was a price increase around the start of 2024. For retail orders placed before the price increase your dealer should be able to credit you the difference and they can collect it from Ford.
There's another thread on here with some discussions of options.

My truck entered production last week. My salesman called me yesterday to tell me that and said he expects the truck by the end of March. Not sure if he actually has real info behind that timeframe or if that was just a generic guess.
My Raptor was scheduled for production week of 2/26, but went into production today per the Order Tracker.
Hopefully its not caught up in a huge backlog once they do start shipping trucks.
