  1. FRONT SENSOR ISSUES ARE DRIVING ME MAD

I was wondering if I was the first person to ever want to drive my Ranger in a snowy environment! How did ford engineers not figure this out?!? Was just on a U.P. Ski trip, in a snow storm (great skiing) but my ā€œSmartā€ truck was DUMBFOUNDED by snow and ice…every time I restated, I had to go thru...
  2. POLL: Which trim did you buy?

Lariat 2.3L FX4 Tow. - for a few reasons…the upgraded equipment I felt was worth it, also, I found mine ā€œNEW/OLDā€ a ā€˜24 that had passed around a couple dealers, new with 150 miles, but a year old. I bought in DEC, 25- basically got the Lariat package for free, (paid less than current XLT)...
  3. Gear Selector differences

That’s right, AFAIK… My 24 Lariat has the small computer mouse shifter, and the park assist functions - Park assist is cool, but only if you’ve got 10 minutes to back into a spot. It’s SUPER slow. I’m sure because it’s NOT going to hit anything, so it’s very cautious. I wouldn’t make a buying...
  4. Wiper Blade Arms while truck is off

VW had a system that if you push the wiper stalk down once just after shuttting off the vehicle it would swipe them up and park them vertically - wish a similar design was included on the Fords….but alas….ā€they’re just Fordsā€. (hood prop on a $60k truck?!?)
  5. Joined the 2.5” level and 33” tire club

Nice! I agree- crazy take in the Ford, trying to suss out options for a level, but I’m not sure I really want ā€œliftā€ over all - fitting 33s is a huge plus! thanks!
  6. Joined the 2.5” level and 33” tire club

Is that just 2.5 in the front? Ie ā€œlevelā€ Or a lift in the rear too? Looks good! I like the black on black wheels/paint.
  7. Hood Rattle/Vibration

    10. ā€œReassemble vehicleā€. Reminiscent of old Haynes Manual steps: 1. Remove negative battery cable. 2. Remove rear axle from vehicle. reinstall process is reverse of removal. :like::like:
  8. My Ranger is sleeping

True, but the idle time on your vehicle history is mostly, likely, comprised of a few minutes at a stop (sign, light, waiting for your kids at school pickup, whatever…) but almost always surrounded by full engine temps on drives of more than a few miles which evaporates the condensate out of the...
  9. Sanity check - auto engage parking brake?

I’d say you’re not wrong in thinking that it’s not good letting the truck rock onto the Parking pawl in the transmission. No need to dance through neutral though, if you simply shift to park and engage the parking brake before releasing the foot brake, the weight will rest on the P-Brake...
  10. What’s your favorite cheap Ranger accessory?

Tufskinz Matte black tailgate letters - First accessory for the new truck- love it!
  11. What is the break-in period?

Being in my own break in period, I’ll tell you I sort of have the same question… im just treating it fairly gently, not flooring it, but also not babying it too much, I like your ā€œbetween 2-4000 rpmā€ suggestion. Using cruise control sparingly, not allowing it to sit at a constant rpm/speed too...
  12. New ‘24 Cactus grey Lariat

Hello! bought my first pickup this week, a 2024 Ranger Lariat FX4 in cactus grey. Looking forward to learning and running my new truck! Thanks in advance for the help! - Andy
  13. My 24’ Cactus Gray Ranger Build

Same question….just bought a New 2024 Lariat FX4 and interested in your experience with the Bronco bilstien shocks. Is that front only? To achieve the Level, not over all lift? Retaining the stock rear suspension in full? yours looks awesome! (Especially in the fastest colour:like:) Thanks for...
