In some way's this is a good hopefully shake up for Ford. The engines will be sorted by the time the Ranger comes out. It has not been finalized that the 2.7L will be offered in the Ranger for NA.

The Colorado and Canyon have a dedicated manufacturing plant for those vehicles. You will be able to get a Chevy product much quicker then the Ranger.

The one thing I see from this for the NA market is the Tremor name. We will have to see if the Ranger will use the Rattler moniker too. The Bronco uses the Wildtrak name. Looks like Ford NA will keep with the XL, XLT and Lariat names.

It would make it easier on the NA, MAP plant if you could only order set packages on the Rangers. The Dam Bronco is endless in how you can order it. Although packages are currently limited by the Global Supply chain.
