Mine shipped 5 days after it was built. And I have actually been getting regular updates from Ford. My ETA was 5/19 - 5/25, but they updated it to 5/7 - 5/20. Seems like they are starting to roll now.
Just talked to my dealer... they see the retail cash back offer, but said that the requirements state that I need an 11-digit code that will come by "direct mail" in order to get the discount. I have not seen this code show up and I am pretty diligent about monitoring mail/e-mail. Anyone else...
Currently, my truck is in production and the windows sticker does not show anything about Auto Start-Stop. BUT... my order details under Accessories shows Auto Start-Stop Removal
If you are interested in MPGs... TFL did an MPG comparison video with the Ranger and other new mid-size trucks recently. They drove an XLT FX4 with the General Grabber AT tires (which appear to be more aggressive than the Goodyear Wranglers) and managed 26.0 MPG on a 110-mile loop around Denver!
Yea... especially the smaller screen... that gray plastic that the screen sits in reminds me of the TV surround on the GIANT 27" tube TV I had in the early 90s! Just supper ugly.
I have seen a couple video reviewers that were testing XLT FX4s that had General Grabber ATs on them. But so far, all of the photos of FX4s that members have received are sporting the Goodyear Wranglers. IMHO, the Grabbers look FAR better and more aggressive than the Wranglers.
My wife's new Atlas is the same way... Apple Car Play connects fine wirelessly one day, then the next day won't connect until you try it a half a dozen times then other days won't connect at all.
My window sticker showed up one week (last Friday) before my blend date (This Friday 4/12). I just checked today, and my tracker shows as "In Production"! Yay!
For those of you that already have your non-raptor trucks... I saw in a video (I think the person posting it is a member here) that the Raptors have a license plate bracket that allows you to mount it to pre-drilled holes under the bumper.
Do the non-Raptors have a similar setup so that you...
Hopefully it's just a QC issue that has been rectified. The AU and EU markets have already been beta testing our new trucks (more or less) for a couple of years now. I would think that the majority of the critical issues have been resolved by now.
