Not sure what point or help you are trying to offer. Clearly said I was thinking of going to a 295, didn’t want to go to 35’s, and all 295’s are E’s, and was interested in folks experience with E load tires. I know there are C load 35’s out there. Your reply of 35” C’s are easy to find is a...
For those of you that have gone up in tire size, is everyone just resigned to running E’s? I want to go up to a 295/70-17, but everything is an E. Same with 305’s. And most 315’s. I don’t want to run 35’s.
For those on E’s, how much of a ride quality/gas mileage hit did you take?
For those of you that did the install yourselves, how difficult was the front bottom shock bolt? I’m still surprised at the torque spec on that bolt (405 lb ft). I have a 1/2” breaker bar, but worried that may not be enough to loosen it. Also, I’d need to find a torque wrench that goes...
Biggest problem is they are on national back order. At least the black ones. Tire Rack doesn’t have them. My dealer can’t get them. They found one and only one available at another dealer in the southeast. Method says 2-3 months minimum.
Production seems to be moving quickly. Placed a deposit/order on 1/26. Build was scheduled week of 2/16. Build status started 2/18. Shipped 2/27. Delivery ETA is 3/11-3/17.
They are. Confirmed this directly from Method just a few days ago.
Per Method:
“Ford Performance wheels will take any of our snap-in center caps, that have 6x5.5 in the description.”
How did you get the push-through center caps to work with the hub centric rings? I thought these wheels were lug centric and the installation of the push through center caps prevented the use of the rings?
