Well, goes to show how well written and not-at-all vague our owner’s manual is.
Heard from the dealer. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean anything. Apparently the tech can’t figure out what’s wrong so they “are in communication with Ford and waiting for a response.”
Wonder if thats what’s going on with mine?

Didn’t see your post until now. Still haven’t heard from the dealer yet
what @natethegreat42 said. When i drove manual, i did all the time. But driving an automatic, ive never set the brake unless i’m on an incline/towing. There are not many inclines in and around the Houston area, lol.
and actually, reading the manual, it seems the parking brake already sets and...
Got bit by a gremlin on the way to work this morning at 6500 miles. Just before i got there, i stopped at a convenience store. when i came back out and started the truck, it started screaming at me to "Service Parking Brake NOW!" i was like, wtf? i don't ever use the parking brake, i dont have...
I'm waiting for something like on an android tablet where you can unlock developer mode by tapping on the software version number 10 times. wonder if there's any kind of secret service menu in sync if you tap or hold buttons in a certain manner on the screen?
so, it’s hypothetical. It’s nothing coming from Ford. I’m all for it just don’t understand making a street truck a 4x4. Unless its the 4wd-auto system which is essentially AWD (part time?). I think i’d still prefer RWD with an e-locker, though.
With the recent announcement of the F150 Lobo and the fact there’s apparently a Maverick Lobo. Anyone think we could get a Ranger Lobo? And if so, how do you think it will be set up?
personally i’d hope for a RWD with the 2.7. (I hate that the 2.7 is 4x4 only).
That’s interesting. Because when i go to your Amazon store it shows up as a Ranger item. But when you click the description it is for F150.
Although now it does say “Unavailable”. It didn’t say that last time I looked
Looking at getting the cargo net. And maybe the cup holder insert (im getting tired of the skinny cans rattling, lol) but last time i looked, it said it was for the F150?
This thread has converted me. I am not an Eco-guy, and i thought, i would RARELY, if ever, use eco mode. maybe on a long trip, or whatever. but after reading this thread, i've been using it daily. I spend a large chunk of my driving in heavy traffic. Normal Mode can't figure out wtf i'm doing...
Nice truck! Nice wheels! It’s funny seeing the squirrel on your stockers. On that note, be wary of them. They (and other rodents) like getting under the hood, building nests, and chewing wires.
Not all tonneau covers! I just went thru a hassle. Bought a gator efx cover via amazon. Said it should fit 19-25. It may have physically fit but the mounting hardware was way different. Sent it back and bought directly from realtruck thru here. different part number between them, too. The one...
