Hey @pablo94sc these may be what you are looking for; they are a little lower profile and look stock on the truck.
I got these off blue oval industries' site. They are oem (I believe) and should have come on the truck from the factory...
That's a shame since all the design cost had already been recovered by the overseas versions. Sort of why we have to install the bed support braces for a truck. And why there's a stupid open shelf behind the console to the back instead of a/c vents?.... What else did they skimp out on?
Congratulations, you're gonna love it. I personally have the same color and with the bead-lock ready rims (it came that way, so I didn't have a choice). But, I sort of feel like it's good I have them just in case...
Some mods to consider when you get your truck which I have done so far.... Run...
I tied in to the fusebox in the cab, driver's side under the steering wheel using a fuse bridge and routing the wire up the left side of the windshield behind the plastic and along the top of windshield to the mirror. Works like a champ when truck is turned on.
@FullSend May I ask how high are the bottom of the boards now with the lift and new tires? For everyone's info, stock is 14.25" from concrete below. That would reflect the overall lift difference. Your truck looks great! I'm probably going to do this when my tires have run their course...
When...
I'm not sure why they would introduce a Tremor trim into the trim levels. Would there be a market? I assume this exists in the F150 trim because there is such a big step up to the Raptor Package in the F150. Ford walks a tightrope with the Ranger because if it gets too pricey, you just buy a...
Curious, what would be the advantage to installing these if you already have the factory bed lights on the sides? It sounds like (in the description) that unlocking doors via remote turns these lights on. I assume that is the benefit? I think you can only turn the bed lights installed already...
Love the rack and camping setup. Did you install the bed reinforcement J Rails? It's my understanding we'll need to in order to support weight on the bed rails.
Thanks for the advice guys. I figured I'd try these $33 lights from Amazon and they have been pretty bright. The install was not bad, I used existing holes under the trailer hitch and the wire loom is at the bumper on the driver's side. I used the AUX3 wires. That AUX switch panel in the cab is...
Here's mine in morning shade. Like many have said, the color can differ based on ambient light (which is kind of cool). Here it looks darker and more subdued. In the sun, you can see the green more as well as flecks in the paint... I liked the shelter green the first time I saw it. I don't see...
Well said @JR RANGER. I'm going on 3 months in my 24 RR and love it. No regrets on buying it over the Tacoma that I had a deposit on. Wife says the Ford is nicer than the Tacoma.
I added these last weekend from Amazon for about $33... They are low profile and pretty bright. I mounted under the bumper in existing holes and used the AUX 3 circuit that is already back there by the bumper in wire loom on driver side.
I have done this with my last vehicle. I wound up tapping into existing reverse light and also adding a relay so they would come on when the reverse lights came on. Worked great for years. Something like this....
