  1. Transmission Problems

I'd ask for a new cooler as well, if things came apart there will be debris in the (OTW?) cooler and in the lines. The 2.7 uses an OTW cooler fastened to the side of the engine block, if you have a 2.3 I have no idea what it has. I wonder if there was a problem with the initial fill? No leaks?
  2. Build date starting this week?

My build week started today. Will they email me the day it gets built?
  3. LOTS of used Raptors with very low mileage

I agree. I'm seeing cracks appearing in housing and rentals as well. Rental vacancies are rising, rents are softening. Home sales have almost come to a halt, mortgage & re-fi applications are way down and prices are dropping. This actually started quite a while ago but wasn't too apparent till...
  4. Seat Covers Unlimited - any feedback?

On my Jeep they do. Won't know about the Ranger till it arrives.
  5. 4L on dry surface

Europe gets a hybrid Ranger this year https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2025/10/ford-ranger-phev-debuts-in-europe-and-you-cant-have-it-in-the-u-s/#:~:text=A%20new%20Ford%20Ranger%20PHEV,coming%20to%20the%20U.S.%20Yup.
  6. 4L on dry surface

The issue is not only in turning, but in any vehicle it is impossible to have both axle speeds exactly the same even driving in a straight line so eventually things will bind up. Usually this just results in tire slippage and increased wear on the 4WD parts due to the increased resistance of the...
  7. Seat Covers Unlimited - any feedback?

    Yep, temporary covers.
  8. Seat Covers Unlimited - any feedback?

FWIW here's what I do on all my vehicles. First I buy nice seat covers from Dash Designs: https://www.dashdesigns.com/p-37637-seat-covers-all-landing-page.html Then I order these to slip on over the nice covers for the beach or if I've been working and sweaty...
  9. OFFROAM Phone Mount

Does it make any permanent marks on the dash? Ad says it doesn't but any real world experience?
  10. Go to touch up paint brand/kit?

Here are the results of the door dings on the side of my TDI. They were very difficult as not only were they were on a horizontal surface but they were right on a raised crease. I worked on them off and on for 2 days until I was finally satisfied. I had to keep applying paint and shaping it with...
  11. New buyer questions

    What about the fender flares?
  12. New buyer questions

While I really like the Raptor, I didn't need one. The one thing I also didn't want was a wide truck due to my daily parking spot and while the XLT is only 4.5 inches narrower than a F-150, the Raptor fender flares make it just as wide as a regular F-150/250. Not counting mirrors.
  13. 2024-2025 Body Side Moldings

Those do look nice, I hadn't seen any like that, where did you get them? These are the ones I have seen
  14. Flat tow XLT question

Enjoy the truck. I've been on all the Ranger forums and this one is by far the best and most active, at least for the 2024-2026 models.
  15. Flat tow XLT question

Welcome to the forum, I'm in Tucson. My Ranger is getting built next week. I'm flat towing a Jeep TJ though, the ranger is a tad too heavy for my MH.
  16. 2024-2025 Body Side Moldings

Anyone tried them on a 2024-2025 to help prevent door dings?
  17. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

Very good idea to change that first fill early.
  18. Unused bracket under hood

Actually it looks like this one on an Australian model. Looks like a ground wire in the back hole and another bracket screwed into the front hole for part of the hood support.
  19. Unused bracket under hood

That's what I was thinking, and Pirate Camp sells an ARB mount that fits in there between the diesel airbox and the firewall. recovery bottle. I don't think it will fit the US trucks though.
  20. Unused bracket under hood

hmmmmm, I'm seeing a starting point to mount an ARB single.
